Greg Berg was the fill-in actor, Barry Gorden was the original Donatello voice.

Greg Berg only voiced Donatello/Bebop in 7 episodes.

i hated his voice as donatello it was so annoying that ridiculous high pitch nasal sound. good thing we only had to put up with it for 7 episodes. barry gordon was waaaayyyyy better and is the true donatello.

Didn't think he was too bad. At least he was nowhere as bad as the alternate Raphael in those Season 3 and Euro Vacation episodes.

*shudder*

I liked his work on Muppet Babies a lot, but not when he did Donnie.

i felt that he ruined the leatherhead episode with his annoying voice. i remember watching it and thinking "what the he*l is fozzy bear doing on tmnt?" sure he was great on muppet babies but he was horrible as donatello. of all the alternate voices used on tmnt his was the most obnoxious.

Yeah, his voice was distracting, but I always found Raph's alternate way worse.

In general of the alternate voice actors, I found Townsend Coleman's Splinter the closest, which isn't too tough since a softer Rat King will be fitting. Greg Berg's Bebop was pretty good and IMO better than the one used for Turtles Forever; its basically a tenor version of Barry Gordon's Bebop. While his Donatello wasn't the worst replacement (that would be Thom Pinto's Raphael), I'd rank his Donatello as second worse. It sounds a bit too "hicky" to really be in character, especially as shown in the Mutagen Monster in which the "Donatello? Who's Donatello?" line gave me nightmares as a kid and forced me to stop the VHS tape!
