Um.. what type of "entertainment" are they discussing now with that cover? It's hilarious how the very first line of the cover says: "Perfect Sex! Let the Masters show you how p.40" or how the words for "[Your Summer] Must List" are next to Alba's chest. Those crafty cover page editors... Seems more like a cover of FHM or Maxim with that cover.

...Huh... oh yeah, Turtles are supposedly being discussed on here. Meh... Nothing really new here in terms of the Turtle designs, still looking horrible in my opinion, but um... Mikey's lips are blue now? (Maybe I just didn't pay attention earlier...)

Regardless of were you stand on the issue of scantily clad ladies in media I think we can all agree it's for the better those turtles are not on the cover.

I'm just going to keep resenting the excuse that "Oh they're mutants! they're supposed to look ugly!"

I don't like the designs. Plain and simple. How they're meant to look in a live-action film means jack-s*it to me.

EDIT: Also, if all mutants are meant to be ugly, then I guess we're purposefully excluding exceptions like Alopex or Koya, who were neither ugly in design or overly-sexualized furry-bait-to-distinguish-that-they're-girlz.

Some bad some good.. depending on how you feel about the new film. They make some comparisons with the old and the new. Considering "Masters" is italics, I'm going to assume it's an article about the Showtime program Masters of Sex, a dramatization about the human behavioral scientists Masters and Johnson.

It's a cheap ploy, as is the image of Alba. Again, a cheap ploy that they could at least level the playing field for by having the same shot with "StarLord" in the pool.

Oh for the wasted opportunities.

Seeing it a little more clearly I hope the picture there isn't the final product. I don't like the dalmation-like spots on Leo's head. One of the things I didn't like from Secret of the Ooze was the added spots on them. It's far from a deal breaker, but they don't seem to be pronounced in the trailer that I've seen, so I figure that's a little different in this art. Just a personal nitpick I didn't like from the second and third movies, seeing it on Leo just reminds me is all.

I'm still more "nerd raged" by Raphael damn near literally having shell pecs and a six pack o' shell abs. I dun' like shell abs! -_-

The images look like the same ones we'll see in the Visual history book. No interest in buying a magazine for this, but will be interested to see if anyone scans just the pages in for our viewing pleasure.

Weird how they just use the promo art for the turtles and non the actual CGI models. There have to be at least a few frames that've been completed by now.

Can't tell 100% with the higher rez shot cut off, but looks like you're right. Wonder if when that end is collapsed it's regular bo sized and the extender is used for specific purposes or something.

Another thing I have noted that I love is with the turtles being much larger in this version than past ones, notice how small the handles of Leo's katanas look in his hands? I kind of like that. It shows the weapons weren't made for him; they were made for humans and his hands are much thicker/larger than an average human's hands.
