I'm thinking it will be more of a jab at splinter. He turned his daughter against him, but when that fails, he decides to turn her into a "freak" just like him.

I'm still not sure if the "one last mutant" is Karai though. Because at this point, Karai is still with shredder. She hasn't shown him any reason that he should distrust her

Well, my opinions:

219) The Wrath of Tiger Claw:
+ Clearly, Tiger Claw returns somehow.
+ This is possibly one of the episodes of the storyboards, which ends with Karai finally discovering Splinter is his father and Shredder locking her away.

220) The Legend of the Kuro Kabuto:
+ Surely the episode about when a master thief steals Shredder’s helmet.

221) Plan 10:
+ Possibly the episode where Raph switches minds with a Kraang and April is kidnapped.
+ This worries me, because this mean the Trutles Lair could be discovered.

222) Vengeance is Mine:
+ I don't know where it was said the stuff about Leo being beaten down, but I guess this will be that episode; since Vengeance makes think about "Shredder's Vengeance".
+ Honestly, this smells to me like the episodes "The Shredder Strikes Back" from the 2003's series or the plot from the first movie in 1990 (just Raph taking Leo's place as the beaten turtle).
+ And just like the previous examples, this will be the episode where the turtles and their allies will have to run away from the city.

223 and 224) Episodes 23 and 24 of Season 2:
+ Possibly in one of them, we will see the other storyboard with April and Donnie in a farm.
+ Just like in "Tales of Leo" and "The Monster Hunter", the Turtles will spend time in April or Casey's farm to heal their bounds and prepare themselves.
+ At the end of the second episode, the Turtles will decide to finally return to New York.

225 and 226) Episode 25 and 26 of Season 2:
+ Possibly, the Kraang will restore the Technodrome and they will try to invade the Earth once again. Just in time for the Turtles' return.
+ To face both the Kraang and the Shredder, I suppose the Turtles will have to gather all their possible allies. Main group is Leo, Donnie, Raph, Mikey and Splinter. They have allies in April, Casey, Mr O'Neil, Mr Kurtzman and, if they allow her to know, Irma. Others allies can be Spike/Slash, Leatherhead (if he return, very likely), maybe Mutagen Man?, a reconstructed MetalHead and Sir Malachi. The Turtles could possibly free Karai and she will join them. The Newtralizer could return and, although he has a grudge against the Turtles, his hate to the Kraang will make him accept a "temporal truce".
+ This season finale could be where, according to iTunes summary, the Turtles "enter the mysterious and bizarre realm of Dimension X". If they are going to make dimension travel, I guess they will also meet face to face their 80's counterparts.
+ This episode could also be the one where they said where the Turtles break out the Turtle Mech against the ultimate Kraang invasion and face Kraang Prime. I wonder what it's the Turtle Mech.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but where did people hear about Leo's beatdown against the Foot clan? I've literally tried looking for it, but haven't succeeded.

I agree with just about everything. I think I'm in the minority that Vengence is Mine is the Mutagen Man follow up where he wants revenge on Donnie for freezing him, cause I feel that's got to be somewhere before it's too close to the end. Episode 23 would be the Shredder/Leo episode where he learns what's happened to Karai, he gets beat down, they take both Leo and Karai back to the lair, they've been traced, tracked, and discovered in the lair. They flee, 24 they are at the farm house, ends with them seeing the aftermath of NYC leading into the 2 part finale.

I do remember there was talk of the season ending with a major cliffhanger. Is it possible they get trapped in Dimension X to end the season?

I believe it was mentioned by Ciro himself, don't remember if it was during an interview or podcast. But he said he wanted and planned to do that arc because he loved it so much as a kid.

So now in addition to enhanced Karai, he'll now have a pissed off Splinter going after him.

I know that all the incarnations of Shredder are not long term thinkers, but damn. lol

To be fair, Shredder is unbelievably powerful and is obviously stronger than every mutant created. If Shredder is able to make Rahzar, a supermutant who was already powerful enough in his previous state look like child's play, then Shredder will certainly have no problem being able to handle an Enhanced Karai.

I was questioning if that was a type the first time I saw it, but now, with the release of the Mutated Karai figure, I'm not so sure.

No, it was talking about Baxter having plans to mutate April, which is exactly what he did when April was tied up over the mutagen vat that she eventually fell into. It was refering to his episode alone.

@MCLeo - This sentence looks for (not intentionally) ambiguous - they've enumerate the various enemies of the turtles in this season (part of the season?), but some of them with short description, and the part about mutating could be read as Baxter's intention to mutate April and two other characters, but in fact it was only about April (yeah, unfortunate, ambigous comma ).

English is not my native language (so I can be wrong), but that's how I see this sentence.

Vengeance is Mine definitely sounds like it'll be the Leo one-shot nod. Sounds like Leo May go after Karai solo.

Those were a different set of storyboards released at the same time. The ones I'm referring to had Shredder admitting Splinter was Karai's father and then having TigerClaw lock her in a prison.

Those episodes look great (a little bit of doubt to Plan 10 but it can still be a good episode) Nice to see Leo wanting to take action to save Karai, really looking forward to see how that will pan out.


Slightly worried if Jason Biggs doesn't voice Leo for the rest of this season (not sure if there's any news on that), but looking forward to it nonetheless.

I get the feeling Plan10 is another filler everyone will be complaining about. I hope people don't get angry like the Pizzaface episode.
