So nice to be among other TMNT fans.. How some can jump threw hoops trying to take away anything positive regarding this movie.. even try to underrate the accomplishments of this franchise as a whole all in defense of this unknown 1960's comic book adaption I can't wait till August 8th..

ive seen the positive side do this as well when it comes to TMNT...not you but many others

and no i dont want it to fail just because i dont like how it looks

i just want people behind it who actually care about the franchise or who actually know how to tell a good story without the need of BOOMS and explosions and action driven lack of dialog

Yeah, but everything was an "unknown" franchise at one point. People might well have said the same about the first TMNT movie in 1990, before it became a pretty big hit (especially for an independent film).

And the specific version of the GotG they're adapting is actually quite recent - some of the individual characters had existed for some time prior, but this version only debuted as a team in 2008.

We don't know what August will bring, but please don't dismiss the positive word of mouth that GotG has generated, especially considering it's an "unknown". Let's be real - reaction to the TMNT trailers has been pretty mixed, but GotG's reaction has been overwhelmingly positive so far.

33,852,860 views on it's first trailer, regardless if the people that didn't like it shared it, it did what it was suppose to do create stir up and bring attention to the film, while guardians only has 16,328,971 views, it shows that people have more interest in TMNT Regardless if their opinion is negative or not

not ture...and this point has been talked to death so i will say it ones...while yes it has more veiws...not all those views equal 1 person


people share,rewatch countless times, embed, everytime you watch it on youtube it counts as a separate view ....so in reality take that number and cut it in half...but i can see i am talking on deaf eyes...

i truly hope you enjoy your tmnt movie...i really do, it will make me happy


but ill be elsewhere hoping someone else who truly loves this franchise gives us a proper film, based on a heroes i grew to love

as for GOTG i want to see it because i can see the big picture its painting...this is movie history in the making..never has it been done before and it may never be done again, do you realize the risk it took at the end of ironman one and the amazing results it had

Neither version of Guardians of the Galaxy is from the 60s.

If you may permit a sports analogy; it's fine to root for the home team but you can be honest about their performance, where their strengths are were their shortcomings are.

Also it's fine to be exasperated if your team is not doing things right as people tend to feel they've let the fans down. That's really what's happening with TMNT.

You can say "hey well at least you've got the old stuff" but I was hoping to continue to enjoy the franchise especially in a big budget movie were the whole world can see what we like about it fully realized.

GOTG is doing that. TMNT is not.

Okay you're right, the reason i want it to fail is because 1. it looks boring 2. sick of seeing people around the web (not including you guys) saying that GOTG will slay TMNT 3. I want it to fail so theres no competition for TMNT Okay i think i got?
