Are you sure Raph can't? he has two loops on the back of his belt.

really like the sculpts for these figures... rather the movie designs grow on me or not there is no denying they packed some nice sculpting in these small figures.
The music is a cover of the TMNT video game music I believe. But yeah, I wish they actually talked in it.

Well as he was pointing, the holes are way too small and if you look closer at it, it's just molding to give that illusion of storing the weapons. Sad but true, Leo is the only turtle who can store his weapon. Another problem is, even if you tried, you can easily see that the sais are way too bulky to fin into those so called holes.

I'm not sure, the reviewer didn't try to stick them in there... I need a closer look

Slash32 can you confirm/deny can he store them back there?

Just bought my third ooze copter, this time it came in a combi pack with Leonardo. I already had the regular ooze copter and the ooze copter that came with a pack of ooze. Both vehicles that come with ooze I keep MOC, as I already display one ooze copter now

Morgan Park has a couple cases. Minus 2 Raphael, 1 Shredder, and 1 Foot.

Do you have any pictures of them? They are overdue for updated paint
Thank you Metalwolf So Rahzar, Slash, Dojo Splinter and Newtralizer will be arriving in toy stores next month (July)? I just want to make sure. I assume that's when the 2014 movie figures will be out ?

That stinks we have to wait until 2015 to get a Karai figure. You think since she is a key character there would have been a figure of her out already.

Is there some idea that female characters don't (or won't) sell as well? I've only bought five figures in this line (the original Turtles and Splinter) but I would definitely pick up a "regular" Karai - as in, not a gimmicky or mutated version or whatever.

I'd probably grab an April as well, but unfortunately I've never once found one in stores.

sadly yes...it seems most toy companies feel girls dont sell..its usually why unless they are a major character there is never a toy

The straps are just molded on his belt there aren't any actual holes. Unfortunately Leo is the only one who can store his weapons and the foot soldier of course.

Yup saw the cockroach terminator repaint at target today. I'm sure cases with the newtralizer wave will have the repaints. They should be super easy to find soon.

All the leatherheads I saw had the old paint app though, no silver rivets on his wrists.

Kay so. I am hating myself right now but whatever. I guess it was inevitable.

I bought all 7 figs from the case.

I looked them over real good. Splinter is only 1x per case but his paint apps were excellent so I was fortunate. He does not look wall-eyed at all.

Out of the two shredders one had crappy eyes. One had decent eyes, so I got that one.

Foot soldier, also 1x per case, but everything looked good on it...

except. IT WASN'T!

when i got home and opened it i realized it was missing one of the guns. The middle sized gun out of the 3. The knife was there though. No, I did not somehow lose it, I noticed it was not there before I opened it.

Not cool. So check your foot soldiers more carefully than I did.

Anyway, foot soldier is weird. it literally looks like a GI Joe. But I do like how the mask goes on/off.

It's going to be lame if these foot soldiers and shredder are the ONLY things the turtles get to fight in this movie. I really hope there is another mutant or something that we just don't know about yet.

Of the turtles I only opened Raph so far. Disappointed in the posability, it's less than some of the Nick turtles. BUT... they do have more sculpting in them so I guess that's the trade-off Playmates is working with. Sigh! I hate compromises.

Splinter's robe is like rubbery plastic it feels like you could totally pull it off if you wanted to. I won't be trying though.

I'll have more impressions later. Busy day (E3!)

Yes. And if you don't see them for July then it's definitely August, based on the response I got. If you are interested, I posted my email inquiry and answer in the Karai figure thread, and it will have all of this information in it's original format.

I think they are releasing that specific set during those months since they are the most likely to sell well during the TMNT movie figure rush. I know lots of folks want a Rahzar, quite a few still want a Slash and Newt even after the scaling issues, and a few still might get a Dojo Splinter too (but I haven't heard as much people mention him, so him selling as much is doubtful.)

I agree, but that might be because they don't think she'd sell as well being a female, even though that has been proven not to be true before when they do bring out female figures. It's an old thought pattern that is taking it's time to die, but hopefully they'll rethink things after the male success of My Little Pony and other supposed 'traditionally female' franchises.
