I don't mind either Biggs or Dominic, both are good enough as Leo for me.

I'm really starting to think this change is permanent or Dominic Catrambone is at least an alternate Leonardo. Look at what he wrote yesterday.

As most people know, Andrew Kishino and Kate Micucci are current actors on the show. And as I've mentioned before, Sunday's episode might have been recorded before Catrambone joined the cast (possibly permanently).

ETA: The last two episodes also have different production codes if that means anything.

I hate PETA, I hate Seaworld, I hate assholes like Biggs, and I hate that mikichan blog. I, too, would not boycott everything just because there's someone involved in it I hate, but I'm just a consumer. If I ran a business, I sure as shell would fire people on the grounds that they were assholes, and you best believe the Nick guys can. Even if there's some truth to the claims that lines are recorded far in advance, and thus what we're seeing now is just a fluke, there's always the option of rerecording lines from one actor if they really, really want to get rid of him.

I think people are starting to become pretty desensitized towards jerky behaviour from stars, so there's a lot less public fallout when someone starts behaving like an asshat. In some cases, it even seems to help their careers.

it's not looking good for Jason, the episode might have been in a different production order to the voicing.

Or he may just have not been available that day to record. Who knows? But maybe Dom can't say whether he's permanent or not until it's officially confirmed. Either way, I just don't care anymore. Biggs has done a good job, but if you would have asked me before he was cast who would make a good Leo, Biggs would not have been on my list. He's surprised me though with what he can do, but sometimes, circumstances change, and if Jason can't make all of the recordings as he should, then maybe they decided he should no longer have the role. Or he quit in order to do "Orange is the New Black" and to spend more time with his son. The only thing we can do is wait and see what happens in season 3. If Jason's still voicing Leo there, then we know he wasn't completely replaced.

Do the actor's contracts for it run season to season?

I suppose it could be possible that Biggs could decide to step down and perhaps Pizza Face was a test run for the other guy. Or, who knows.. We shall see. (Darn it, Mr. Catrambone, stop teasing us. lol)

I'd kinda miss Biggs' particular tone for Leo, though Catrambone prob wouldn't take too long to get used to.

For all intents and purposes, he does a good job as Leo - but if he's replaced, it won't phase me for a second.
You've worded what I've been feeling as well, but I wouldn't have been able to put into the right words.

I love Jason's work as Leonardo, but I've also seen some of his stuff online (and I regret looking at his Twitter) and it took me a little while to tune all those things out.

Again, I really enjoy his work as Leonardo, but Dominic seems like a nice guy and did a good first job in Pizza Face.

Meh, I don't know what to think anymore, I just have to wait and see. Like Pennydreadful said, If you had to boycot every actor you don't like there would be quite some stuff you had to skip.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but dominic tweeted something like "not this Sunday, but maybe the next one" Saturday I believe.

So chances are he's going to be, in some part, voicing Leo this next episode.

I got my hopes up that Jason was back

Regardless of what he tweets and says, he does a great job voicing Leo, and while dominic comes close, it is not as good as Jason's.

Some departures and dismissals from animated TV series are not always officially reported. Christine Cavanaugh, who was best known for voicing popular character like Chuckie Finster on Rugrats and Dexter in Dexter's Laboratory, unexpectedly quit voice acting in 2001 and has not been heard from since. Those two characters voices were later taken over by Nancy Cartwright and Candi Milo respectively, but there was no press about them replacing Cavanaugh. Voice actors in the English dub of Sailor Moon also permanently left the program over the years for other projects or reasons that were personal or that involved their families. Like I said, the most fans will get about news of a replacement is when there's an article about a season 3 premiere.

Pauly Shore is a huge jerk and I don't agree with any of the controversy he creates, even though I never read about him. I still watch the Goofy movies and I liked his work in it. Russell Brand is the definition of a creep, but that does not stop me from watching the Despicable Me films. Same thing goes with Sarah Silverman and Wreck-It Ralph even though I did not learn about what she did until after I saw the movie. Then, I hear about all of the charges against X-Men director, Bryan Singer, which were all horrible. But I love the movies and I still wanted to see Days of Future Past since I am a big X-Men fan.

I guess I'm more bothered by what Biggs has done is because I think mocking the dead is crossing way over the line. He never knew that contestant from The Bachelorette or any of the people from the missing Malaysian Airlines flight. Those people did anything terrible to him and I don't see why he should mock their deaths. I was also offended by his sexual jokes about the Pope and the Blessed Mother Mary since I am a Catholic and I don't like it when someone completely trashes my religion. And that's all I have to say about him for now.

Well, The Bachelorette contestant killed herself, but I agree that he really shouldn't have said those things about those people. He should definitely have more respect for the dead. I don't care about people trashing religion because I do it myself and it's done in TV shows all of the time, but saying stuff about dead people is a whole other ball game.

That was a different person. Her name was Gia Allemend and she died last year. I cannot recall reading about him mocking her death. The person's death he mocked was a man named Eric Hill, who died in a paragliding accident.

Well, it has been in shows like Family Guy and South Park, so there are shows that do make fun of religion.

On a side note, I do not understand the appeal of this show - I've tried to watch it twice and I just can't get into it... which is weird, because I loved Bad Girls, and there is absolutely no reason that I shouldn't love a lesbian prison tv show. I can't put my finger on it, it just hasn't grabbed my attention when I've watched it. Anyone else have the same problem?

that doesn't make it right.

anyway if Jason Biggs is going to keep acting like a jerk...then he should have consequences.

I'd rather get used to the new guy who seems like he would be more respectful.

Maybe to you it doesn't. I don't care what people say about religion or if they make fun of it. Even when I still considered myself Catholic, I laughed at the Family Guy episode with the Pope and the episode "The Father, The Son, and the Holy Fonz." It was just funny to me and didn't offend me at all. Same goes with what South Park has done.

I did. Dom sounded a little similar to Jason, but I could definitely tell the slight difference in tone and inflection. It didn't bother me though. I was more confused that he did that because in the other times that he filled in, he sounded like Leo from the video game, and in this instance he was trying to sound more like Jason.
