With all these great pre-mutation models, it would have been awesome with an episode where all mutants where turned back to normal for one day, making Splinter, April and Casey to deal with the episode's plot, while the turtles as regular turtles is out of commission.

In the OT it took only one episode until i mutated bebop and rocksteady. They were humans for only one episode. In IDW it also took two issues to get mutated their first apperance as humans where at the raph micro and then at the bebop and rocksteady miicro(their second apperace) they got mutated. Sane thing will happen here dont expect them to stay humans for more than 1 episode.

More one would show up, get abducted by the Foot and employed for the Shredder. Same with the other, then has them mutated while they are fighting the Turtles.

I think it's more like, he lets them get their butts handed to them a bunch of times by the Turtles, entices them with a 'Would you like a way to become stronger then you ever were, I know a way" and when they say yes, he uses the mutagen on them. That way he just doesn't dump mutagen on them and possibly have them turn on him for doing that, and he knows they won't be preoccupied with becoming human again at least for a while.

Looks like Bebop actually has a full human name this time around. Even comes with his own fancy little business cards:

Anton Zeck. Never thought ANY version of Bebop would be named Anton.

If he's a professional thief, I wonder who hired him to steal the helmet? Maybe Shredder has enemies has enemies outside of the Turtles and Splinter, and this might be their way of instigating a clan/gang war.

I don't know about that, he probably gets brought back to Shredder at the end and gets mutated.

This is what I was thinking, however, CyberCubed may be right. Shredder did have the tendency to not mutate Baxter Stockman (at least for a while), due to his high intelligence and since Shredder found a use for Xever, then potentially, he could find a use for Bebop and mutating him may take away from his experience as a thief.

I don't like Bebop's real name being Anton Zeck. I don't want Bebop to be a mutant name, I want it to be his real name.

Shredder still calls them Bradford and Xever even as mutants, so will he call Bebop "Anton?" God I hope not.

It's a nick name in IDW as well, and probably in Fred Wolf as well.

Why would Shredder want to call them anything but by their real names?

"The Turtles are calling you this, so I'm gonna start calling you this too." If your enemies started calling you Buttface to insult you, would you want your boss calling you Buttface just because your enemies did? That's what the nicknames really are, a back-handed insult.

I think he's just going to refer to Bebop as "Zeck", not "Anton". You don't see him calling Rahzar "Chris.
