Are we giving a blind's eye and overlooking the Casey/April mind swap, for that it could very well lead to...

Spoiler:
Casey learning about April's past?

Awesome news about S4 and that S2 wraps up in July - no more breaks this season.

Don't like the Seth Green news at all.

I wonder why they only ordered 20 eps for S4. That should cut down in some of the filler episodes.

Wow, Season 2 ends July 29th. That's really interesting how they are going to end it that quickly, but that's good news for us as now Season 2 can be wrapped up smoothly even if it means a longer wait for between the series finale and the premiere of Season 3.

Dammit, worst news ever. They should have just kept Leo's voice as it is now, I can't see Seth Green pulling it off at all.

And only 20 episodes for Season 4? The fact that they're already cutting down on the season order is not a good thing.

F#CK!

Seth Green is an...interesting choice but WHY? WHY is Jason Biggs getting replaced? And that 20 Episode order coupled with the fact that the shows ratings has been steadily decreasing is extremely bad news!

How is that bad news? The ratings are down, but they're making money off the episodes now with the ITunes & amazon deal. That .3 decrease on the ratings through late last season to now means jack to them if only 10% of that purchases the episodes online.

That's like making an issue that Seasons 3, 4, 5, & 6 of the '87 cartoon went from 47, 40, 21, to 16. And after that it went on for another 3 years.

Don't make a mountain over...well nothing.

The ratings have actually been pretty consistent since the middle of season one. There was a bit of a drop in the past three episodes, but it's already had some other dips and rises in its run so far. Could be a number of explanations for that - maybe the move to Sunday wasn't the best call? But I wouldn't worry too much at this point.

Still kinda wrapping my head around Seth Green as Leonardo. I'll really miss Biggs in the role... but I'm staying open-minded. Seth Green has done some strong voice work too, and I'm hoping he can match the qualities that Biggs brought to the role while making it his own.

I'm keeping open minded over Seth Green being Leo, Seth is an experienced voice actor and has done lots of voice acting from Family Guy to Robot Chicken.

Sucks that it's going to be 20 episodes for season 4 but I doubt it has anything to do with ratings. I guess season 4 will be airing between 2015 to 2016 and heard that Cartoon Nextwork are bringing back The Power Puff Girls so TMNT could be going up against that.

Dammit, even the 4kids series kept the 26 episode order through at least Season 4.

I'm now honestly starting to wonder if the Nick show won't make as many episodes as 4kids by the time it ends.

I wish we could get some clarification around them saying S2 ends June 29th. We know there are 4 more episodes in the S2 order. Was that a mistake or are they moving those episodes and making them part of S3 this fall?

At least the episode reduction was only 6 episodes. I'd be worried if they only ordered 13.

Let's just hope the 20 episode thing is a mistake.

Either that, or they are opting to do 20 episode seasons in order to have fewer "gaps" in the seasons... that might work okay.

it's not like there is a rule that there can only be 1 season in a year. they can pretty much schedule their release whenever they are ready. It won't be that bad.

Usually cartoons get shorter seasons toward the end of its run or when the show loses its original popularity. I guess they probably figure by the time Season 4 starts (which is 2 years away), a lot of the kids who started at the beginning of the show will drop off, or that Season 3 won't do as well as the first two.

By the end of Season 4 the cartoon will have exactly 98 episodes. Pretty funny as that's only 2 away from 100.

There's been about 5-6 filler episodes per season as of Seasons 1 & 2.

Season 4 for all we know could be a big continuing story arc, possibly the Battle Nexus is somewhere in season 4, arcs like that would make it difficult to throw random fillers in.

That's what i'm thinking or they want to extend the buget on each episode but cut down the episodes so quality over quantity.

They just really need to get them out of NYC. I don't want Season 3 and 4 to be all about mutants and Kraang like Seasons 1-2 were.

We need Dimension X, alien planets, time travel, Battle Nexus, dinosaurs, the future, Japan, etc. They really need to build more sets.

You know Cubed, I'm getting to the point that I don't think I can come here anymore. Between you getting frantic to the point of temper tantrums over Bebop & Rocksteady, to now the show is doomed before Seth Green has even uttered a single line and now of course, well the episode order may have have been cut, well of course the show is ending.

I have just never seen a more pessimistic, stubborn attitude about information that is mostly speculative.
