Whoa. Creep's design looks awesome. I bet Robert Englund's going to voice him, and if so, that's awesome. You know how Ciro and crew are big horror movie fans and like to put those elements into episodes, so it makes sense that they'd do something like this. The Turtles look cool, too, and I can't wait to see where these vision quests lead them.

I am all for dark and gritty turtles, I just don't know if that is the role the show should take (granted this is all just speculation on my part!)
I'm hoping this goes more darker (but I agree with you, hopefully it doesn't lose it's playfulness) as this show right now feels a little too goofy and light. Even the bad guys are getting along with each other a bit too much, as dare I say it, but a bromance looks to be sprouting between Tigerclaw and Bradford. That sort of removes a bit of grittiness, since the villains look better when they have a mini-rivalry between each other instead of gooshy friendship.

I think if this show ends at season 4, then this route for the Turtles is the best to take. It shows them maturing instead of remaining at their current level forever, and it will give a sense of them being adult once it does end. I can't wait to see it

Kinda cool that they're going to end the season with the Turtles fleeing the city.

Yeah, I sort of wasn't really expecting them to have to leave the city til much later... if that's what's in store for us with the finale of Season 2, it's gonna be pretty intense!

It's a concept art image of what sort of changes the Turtles are going to undergo once they evacuate the city and are forced to live in the woods.

http://i989.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps8728a5ed.jpg

According to the concept art it says the Turtles would be undergoing a vision quest that would encourage them to forge new weapons for themselves and also confront their deepest fears. They are also going to have connection to an element.

It's not going to be like the Turtles are suddenly going to get the ability to bend elements, sorry Avatar fans.

Each of the turtles has taken to wear a hood or cloak of some sort. Except for Mikey who has taken to wearing a bandanna that covers the upper portion of his face alla the Turtle Tots from 2k3.

Raph is connected with fire, and seems to have a tube that shoots fire that comes out from the wrappings around his wrist. His mask looks like it covers his head much like Mikey's does. However it hangs down the sides of his face like Wolverine's mask does. His new weapons are a Tagaki, which are a set of hand held Wolverine type claws.

Leo is connected with wind. His mask is normal, but in he has a cloak that hoods over his head and wraps around his upper body. Unlike his brothers he still carries his trademark weapons, his swords. However instead of carrying them holstered on the back if his shell. He carries them at his side like a Samurai carries his swords. He also is armed with a bo and arrow.

Donnie and Mikey seem to be both connected the element of Earth. As they both have corollary elements.

Then again in Asia the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, & Water are depicted as Fire, Wood, Metal, Earth, Water.

Wood at times being connected to wind.

Donnie is connected to the Mountains which could indicate a connection to the element of earth, or the element of metal. We wears a hooded cloak like he is in the story board. Donnie no longer has his eye mask but he wears a skull like mask that is similar to Casey Jones mask, except his is made of stone. He also has white stripes painted on his arms, legs and possibly his body, as a type of camouflage. Donne also welds a hammer and an Ono Ax.

Mikey is connected to forest so by that regard he is connected to the element of wood. He has a mask that covers the whole top of his head, he also has leafy green camouflage on his face. Unlike his brothers he doesn't have a cloak or a hood, but sode (spalders) teko (gauntlet) and Kogake (Sabatons) that look as though they are made from tree bark. He also no longer carries his Nunchucks but Kama sickles.
And maybe April represents Mu (void)

I wouldn't say it's a goofy friendship, but more of acknowledgement as they both think of each other as equals and still shows that they have some honor to an extent. My only problem with this is that Tiger Claw has been portrayed as the strongest henchman that Shredder possessed and the recent episode took that away which sucked, but I totally expected a nerf was coming.

Also, I thought Nickelodeon's description of the 2nd half of Season 2 included Kraang Prime, so S2 ending at "Vengeance is Mine" is really surprising to me.

Oh man, this character is right up my horror-lovin' dark alley. Love the F13 Part 2 baghead look. I'm definitely stoked for him to show up next season. And action figure too, please.

Cool design for creep, I hope the Turtles outfits are not for the rest of season 3.

Really, because the article said that Season 2 would end on June 29th, the release of "Vengeance is Mine", but hopefully that's just a mistake.

We probably have the same amount of episodes as in season 1, and there are some plot points that haven't been shown in this season yet, as far as I know.

===

The pictures look absolutely amazing. Wow, I never expected that, it seems they're planning a lot for the new season and maybe in quite a different direction. And Creep's design looks great.

Interesting to see Donnie wearing a mask similar to Casey. Makes me wonder if something will happen to him, and Don is wearing it in memory of Casey. (Or it could just be coincidence)

The five phases (a closer translation than elements) of wood, fire, earth, water, and metal are specific to China. In Japan, the elements are wind, water, earth, fire, and void. If someone could translate the kanji (I think it's kanji), we'd know who has which element.

The art refers to it as the Shaman Stone Mask, maybe Donnie's vision quest leads him to some more spiritual practices. I find that to be a twist in Donnie's character because Leo was always usually the first one to turn to spiritual practices such as meditation. Mikey doesn't have the focus so he's more likely to fall asleep then reach a higher realm of consciousness. Raph doesn't have the patience.

Donnie however does have the patience and the focus for it, but he only turns to meditation when all other tangible options are exhausted, such as that time in TCRI where he starts to meditate for two seconds.

It was confirmed that it was a mistake and that the season won't end in June. I hope they'll stretch it out to July (probably have the 4th of July weekend as a break since people will be celebrating that) and then end the season then, but we'll see what they plan to do.

Very interesting. Thanks for the information.

It would be a pretty interesting change in direction for this series. I do hope they won't go as far with it as in 2k3 (season 5, but I definitely love the 2k3 series in general)

Looking forward to find out what they're planning, a change in environment would also be cool to see.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this Creep.

I'm hoping that, whenever the turtles move to Northampton, this is a dark villain that becomes the new main 'baddie', with the absence of the Foot and the Kraang.

My mindset is solely focused on The River when I say that. I want to see a villain with the same feel as Bloodsucker.

So this is information for next season right? If so, sounds awesome! What about Shredder? Oh well.

Loving the new outfits, yah why does Donnie's outfit look like Casey? Does he die or some thing? NaXD

Now I'm looking forward to next season even more
