Though I still am not the biggest fan of the desings, I'm really enjoying the figures. I've been customizing them, spending hours handling them. I think the Michelangelo design is the worst. Donnie is too busy. However, I've really started liking the raph and Leo figs. The shredder figure is pretty fun. With they had wrist articulation but these are pretty cool. Just glad to have tmnt movie figures again.

I'm in the Essex area. We have a new Entertainer Store opening in Colchester next week. I'm going to pop in to see if they have any Casey Jones figures around as I want another to make a "civilian" Casey to go with my April. I'll tell you guys what they have in that particular one when it opens.

The April figure, aside from the sucky articulation, is my favorite version of April.
Can you take pictures?

Raph turned out really well. Leo has the best design though, imo. Added metal bits, leather, fabric, and string as well as paint. Would appreciate feedback on them.

Yeah, they are in Canada. But I haven't seen the new turtle van. Though when I picked up the wave of movie figs last Friday at my local Walmart, I did notice a box on the skids to be put out the next day and I peaked inside. It had the larger scale movie turtles but I wasn't sure which size.

Welcome to the boards mate!

Zavvi have the movie toys listed as being due at the beginning of August, so hopefully not too long to wait.

Don't forget to post any UK sightings in here:

Found all 9 figures from the Movie line along with the four new Nick figures Slash, Newtralizer, Dojo Splinter and Rahzar at Wal Mart near Frederick, MD. Sadly...I don't have the money to pick them up. It was great seeing the new products though! I was surprised at how small the movie line figures are. For some reason I expected them to be larger. They had the middle cube set up and all of the figures, including the nick line, were stocked in it.

Tried my luck at Markville Mall in Markham. Their Wal-mart is doing some serious reno's and half the toy department was missing. I don't see them putting any new stock out any time soon.

Going to test my luck at Agincourt Wal-Mart later tonight.

My friend secured a set of turtles for me and my brother. I can't wait to get them in. In terms of quality how are splinter and the foot soldier? I only saw packaged versions and I haven't seen any reviews for them.

I like splinter and foot soldier. Splinter has trouble standing though his legs have to be just right. damn plastic-robed figures so often have this issue. Plus Playmates and their wonky feet/leg placements they love to do don't help.

But I like the sculpting and the sword. nice detailing on the scabbard. Wish he had a way to attach the scabbard somewhere. Maybe on a belt? Oh well.

Topknot is still strange but not that bad.

Foot has some nice posability and the mask and guns are some great accessories, can't believe he comes with so much but it's nice.

I handled and customized shredder last night. He's probably my favorite figure from the new line, followed by Leo. His helmet is a little tight around the faceplate, but I'm really digging the mech-suit concept. This baddie will be fun to see in action. The "doll arms" of shredder seems lame as they have zero coloration and look like barbie. However, i painted them black-ish and he looks really menacing. I'd really recommend people buy shredder. Really neat figure.

Splinter just looks like garbage to me. I guess I'll end up getting him and handling him. Need to find an April without derp face
