Hmm....I'll admit trailer looks great. Still not sure about the movie though.

I do wonder if Alan Ritchson or whatever is voicing Raph.

I'm not a fan or robo shredder and can't stand the way Fox says, "They're ninjas"

You can't even tell it's Knoxville when Leo is telling April they will find her.

Only time I could tell is when he says "Back off, Raph!" And "Let's rock and roll!"

Because their faces and their gear hasn't changed? Why would they suddenly stop complaining?

Yeah, really. I thought they all looked ugly 6 months ago when we barely saw them. It's like Grandma Porn. I don't need to keep seeing more and more of it and hope I'll acquire a taste for it, I already think it's gross.

Another thing that adults do: accept that other people have their own opinions and have the right to express them, without having to complain about their reasoning or them personally.

*shrug* I dunno, if you ordered pizza - lets say from the only pizza place in town - and without fail they always put something on it you really didn't like... prob not gonna just decide you like it, eh? Prob still gonna detest it and just learn to eat around the part you don't care for... which is where I think many "nitpickers" and "haters" may be at at this point.

But we're a complaining species... complaints will prob never stop, be it pizza or movies.

That's silly. I keep saying this: People aren't obligated to enjoy a product just because it's tangentially connected to something they enjoy, if they aren't satisfied with the quality of it. To that end, why should they "get over it and move on" if doing so is only going to lead to MORE product that they don't like? That makes absolutely no sense.

I'm a HUGE Metallica fan. I... didn't love "St. Anger". I didn't hate it as much as a lot of people did, but frankly, if it wasn't Metallica, I probably would never have bought it. There's a TON of sh*t wrong with it, and pretty much all the hate it got was justified. If people didn't bitch about it, they probably wouldn't have shifted gears stylistically and done "Death Magnetic", which was by FAR the best record they'd done in almost 20 years.

In other words: People felt that they were given a product that was below standards. They did not "get over it", they made their voices heard, and the follow-up was 100x better. That's how the system is supposed to work. Not, "I'll swallow absolutely anything with Brand X on it." You and me have been over this, guy. It's not juvenile or immature, as a "fan", to voice your honest displeasure - these people ARE trying to earn our hard-earned money, after all - but it is pretty childish to just throw money at anything with a ribbon on it, whether it's any good or not.

People aren't unhappy because they're "not adults" about the situation, it's because their needs aren't being met. Some people expect more than other people do, and they aren't "wrong" for it.

For the parts that do sound like him... I'm hoping they're still tweaking the voice a bit more.

You can sit there like a child and Complain, moan, trash all you like(does not get you any where) Or you can Be and adult Move on to something else stop waisting time, and cope. I dont like Dance moms, my wife does do i Constantly complain about dance moms? No. Do i talk Down on in it front of her? No, I man up, I move on, I focus on things i enjoy, This is just my Opinion Don't like it move on Ignore me, k

The point is that bitching about bitching is still bitching & thus unproductive & part of the problem...

Bingo. Sam, whether or not you like the opinions we're stating, we are actually talking about the TMNT movie and sharing and debating our views about that specifically. In response, we get folks like you debating us, our opinions, and what we post. One of these things leads to discussion about the actual thing this forum exists for, the other just leads to pointless personal bickering. You figure out which is which.

Literally who cares if some people hate it? If they want to complain and moan about it for the rest of their lives then that's their problem. Honestly it's not stopping me from seeing the movie. Some people think this movie looks terrible, and is it really bothering anyone? well not really. They just don't like what they see, its just a matter of opinion guys. But I do also think that some people are way too negative, to the point where they just nitpick at anything for no apparent reason, but please can we just stop all the bickering in this thread.

Once again, Sam, all things were well until *you* took a shot at people by saying they weren't being "adults". Up until that exact second, people were just talking about their feelings.

I don't want to ignore you, because you seem like a decent guy and you know for a fact we get along, a lot of times. But you have a real complex with this movie, where you compulsively make some comment in that vein every... single... time... that anyone isn't as head-over-heels in love as you are with the flick. And don't get me wrong, other people have done it worse. But it isn't very mature or very becoming.

I don't feel the need to say, as a counter-point, "Well, everyone who loves this movie is just easily amused." That may or may not be true, but it'd be a dick thing to say, either way. Nobody, at this late stage, is going to change anyone's mind about anything. That's a fact. But they can say whatever the hell they want, and implying they're immature or not adults or whatever isn't just inaccurate, it's downright rude.

I like you, man, but stop taking people's honest opinions as personal attacks. Please.
