Just wait til the army guys start torturing/experimenting on Mikey - we're all going to be yelling at the screen to leave him alone. Flurries of popcorn will be thrown, boos and hisses heard throughout the theatre. He who dings the shell must pay...

I'm guessing maybe Raph went chasing after some army guys and got separated...? They'll probably keep him busy fighting elsewhere. Or hell, maybe they'll write in a scene where he gets ticked off and storms out and that's when the attack happens? I actually wouldn't mind seeing that - having him lose his temper and then come back to find his home destroyed, Splinter messed up and possibly dying, and his brothers gone would be a bit of a kick in the nuts.

Your snark was great, Bry. Someone (not me, cuz I just can't do that to myself and there's not enough alcohol in the world to convince me that it's a good idea) really needs to catalogue the number of explosions in everything that Bay's directed and produced. Maybe a little spreadsheet, to fully lay it out.

In the 1990 movie, Raph's temper has him going topside, where he vulnerable. There, the Foot jump him and knocks him out. Then, they deal with the three remaining brothers.

In what could be the new movie's scenario, his temper has him topside, but instead of him getting tackled, leaving his brothers the only ones conscience, it's his brothers that get tackled while he is just fine.

Or, maybe Raph is there, but he's the first one to go after the Shredder and gets knocked out cold. He gets left behind with Splinter, and the Foot taze and capture the rest of the Turtles. Maybe there wasn't enough room in the van to get Raph in there, so that's why he got left behind.

Mikey being my favorite turtle, him getting tortured would make me more upset! I hope I'm not sick for saying this, but I would be OK if they did include a scene of Michelangelo getting tortured and experimented on, because seeing happy go lucky Mikey getting tortured would probably upset the audience more and make us hate the villains a lot more, and it would be a lot more satisfying when we see the turtles escape and deliver a can of whoop ass to the foot clan.

Agreed, would be fun to see. Besides, it's just not a Turtles movie if they don't have Leo and Raph having a tiff over something - even if it's just arguing over pizza toppings.

Nah, totes doesn't make you sick - I think they'll go that route for maximum audience feels. Also, I'd potentially have a little more respect for them if they did do it, as it'd be something a tiny bit darker for the movie.

2:04 - Donatello plants his spring-loaded staff on the ground, launches it up, then immediately catches it in the same hand. Uh… what was the point of that, Donnie?

This scene has really bothered me! Why did he do that and what the heck is Mikey doing in the back??

After watching the trailer a bazillion times and pausing it over and over again I finally realized whats happening; they're lifting up a door. Donnie puts his bo under it and pushes the button to force it up and Mikey helps raise it as well. It all happens in like less then half a second.

Here I thought it was just cool **** for the sake of cool ****. lol *checks sig ... I don't see a door? There's something in the top right when Donnie puts his bo down in the puddle and you can see a straight edged shadow in front of him. But the cut is SO quick it's obviously been edited. So maybe you're right. It would explain whatever the hell Mikey is doing. (I like it even more now that there's an actual purpose.)

I'm secretly hoping Mikey's yelling Booyakasha as a battle cry before jumping into battle.

Oh he's totally going to get tortured... He comes strapped to some sort of table thing in one of the Lego sets.
