To be bluntly honest, I think Nick is scared of ticking off the soccer-mom brigade. These gals fly into mama bear mode whenever anything doesn't kiss the feet of them or their child, so I'm not surprised that Nick is walking on eggshells if this if this is the case. Personally I wish Nick would grow a pair and just say 'Screw it' and make this show have a higher rating category, and let things fall where they will. It might even draw in bigger ratings, because stuff isn't being sanitized to the point it's boring, and kids might even find it cooler because it makes them feel more 'grown up' since stuff feels less patronizing.

I honestly don't get the idea of not having blood in a TV show. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think it would be a little extreme if they chopped of a dude's head or something (Ha. Shredder. You'll get the reference.) but blood? We all have blood. If the Turtles took on someone like Shredder, they're likely to get a few cuts. TMNT 2003 did a fantastic job at keeping it adult like but also a kid's show. Star Wars: Rebels is going to Dinsey XD and I HOPE it feels like Star Wars: The Clone Wars. TMNT on Nick is a bit bad because as you said, Nick is controlled by soccer moms who overreact to violence.

I'm sorry, but I CAN'T STAND MIKEY in this show. I love Greg Cipes and think he does a great job when Mikey's being serious, but Mikey just acts like an IDIOT sometimes, and he was never EVER portrayed that way. He was never the smartest of the turtles, but he sure as hell wasn't stupid.

Now, this is killing me 'cause I'm not sure if it's true or not.

Hey, if that's what you want to think, that's fine. Maybe it is a matter of interpretation as I still like his humor better as he seems a little less stupid and slightly more caring in the second season. And if it's not a matter of interpretation, then it's simply my opinion and I still stand by it. There is nothing wrong with me having my own opinion that differs from yours or anyone else's. Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough. At any rate, my main point was I didn't think season one was somehow superior in humor than season two. (instead of random, I should have put "stupid," I just hate using that word).

Anyway, humor is subjective.

I'm definitely looking forward to season 3, then, if that was Ciro's intention all along. I look forward to seeing more good Mikey moments. His character is loveable, but he can be annoying at times, but even I can admit that he's grown on me and has become less annoying as the series goes on.

Oh, of course he has. If you re-watch the first few episodes of season 1, he's almost unbearable.

Or are they step brother and sister? Granted they don't have the same mom but
