I love Man of Steel. Most Marvel films are overrated.

I don't care much for the 90s TV shows Friends and Seinfeld, which almost everyone seems to love.
Plus, I find most Will Ferrell movies not funny since he typically plays very loud and obnoxious characters, but yet I'm supposed to. |

Continuous reruns of the former killed the show's appeal to me. I now know every line, every joke, and frankly never had the stomach for any season post-Vegas.

Lost in Translation is a pretty boring movie. Also, Scarlett might be hot but she's not exactly a great actress.
Never laughed a single time while watching an episode of Friends. |

I hated Seinfeld.
Tried to re-watch it recently. Thought I just didn't "get it" when I was younger. Still hated it.

I think The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is a million times more entertaining than the first one.
The Terminator is also better than T2. Apocalypse Now was pretty boring. Dark of the Moon is the best Transformers movie. The Dark Knight Rises isn't very good. I also like Nightmare 2. It's the best Freddy makeup in the entire series. I also love the director's cut of Daredevil. |

I know I'm going to piss off alot a people here on this one. I don't think the New Nick Turtles series is all that great. Its not awful but really if it was not part of the Turtles franchise I wouldn't even bother with it. Also Beast Boy is not funny he wasn't funny in Teen Titans and he's not funny here.
I prefer the X-Men movie franchise over the Marvel Studios stuff. I don't like Naruto out of all the big Shonen Jump manga/anime titles over the years I find this to be the most overrated series. I liked it at the start and I still do find some of the supporting characters and world interesting but the main characters and main plots are some of the worst I have ever seen. I like the Star Wars Prequels and I enjoy them and dare say one of them is just as good if not better then one of the main trilogy movies. I don't think I enjoyed a sitcom in the last ten years. I think the last ones I enjoyed was probably Fraiser and Drew Carey show. I know there have been tons of popular ones but none that I liked. Oh and I hate the Middle. I hate Will Ferrell movies I never thought any of them are good at all. Funny considering I liked his work on SNL. This has nothing to do with movies or TV but a comic book despite its many many faults I actually like the Spider-Man Clone Saga and think the Spider-Man mythos was all the better for it. I also felt it was the wrong thing to do for Marvel to bury the Clone Saga and pretend it didn't happen. I dont hate all the Bay Transformers movies there not great but what are people expecting out of a live action Transformers movie. Its a giant toy ad with goofy robots that transform into Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. With it being live action the human characters are always going to play a factor into the plot. Lets face it the best this franchise is is when humans have nothing to do with any part in the franchise Beast Wars and War and Fall of Cybertron games proof of that. As long as its not an Animated movie there never going to be as good or better then the classic toons. Age of Extinction is probably the best your going to get I mean no pot brownie mom no dogs ****ing no Jar Jar bots no Robot balls. Whats really to bitch about.

In all seriousness, I don't think Marvel ignore the Clone Saga outright, as they gave Kane his own comic for a spell, recently brought back The Jackle, for twelve years they published a book centered around a reality where Peter and MJ's daughter survived the saga, published an Ultimate comics adaptation, and published a mini-series based on the original notes for the Saga back in 2009. Ben Reily (as well as Kane and Spider-Girl) will also play a part in the Spider-Verse event later this year. |

Ditto; and the soundtrack pretty much lives on my t-pod!
Not wanting to go too far off-topic here, but I found Scarlett a lot more attractive before she got her nose job. Ditto Jessica Alba.

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Will Ferrell movies!
I also like the Transformers films. Even though I'll watch it, I think The Walking Dead is overrated.

I've watched the Star Wars movie series three times. I still don't really see the appeal. I keep thinking that it will click one day, but it never does. Episode III was the only time I've ever fallen asleep in a movie theater. And I definitely don't understand the love for Empire Strikes Back. Everything goes wrong - and then it ends. I don't see why it's everyone's favorite. It's a train wreck. It just sets the stage for the finale.
I'm in love with Superman Returns. I probably watch it four or five times a year. Geez, I might put it in now... I hate Wolverine. Jackman is great in the role, but I loathed the character long before there were movies. I've recently concluded that Nick is better than OT. Watching Watchmen was a miserable experience. I didn't like Firefly. Yes. I grew up hating the old movie, and this one was a dream come true. |

Empire is the best of the OT. It's a fact. Just ask me. Firefly one of the best sci-fi series to ever to grace the tv screen. Superman Returns is used in detox centres to help people throw up. Totally unacceptable.. |

I have to watch Strange Days with Ralph Fiennes at least a couple times a year. It's like The Catcher in the Rye novel for Mel Gibson's character in Conspiracy Theory. If I see the Strange Days movie on a video shelf somewhere, I must immediately go home and watch it again.
I loved Enterprise and all it's nods to the original Star Trek regardless of continuity mistakes. Firefly was the greatest sci-fi show ever. Fox gets rid of everything I love because it's run by some evil entity that knows how to hurt me. I've enjoyed all the Transformer movies and secretly like Micheal Bay for the same reason I like any super confident, Type A, high end celebrity with a monster ego. I root for the zombies in Walking Dead now that the characters have grown stale for me. Avengers was mediocre at best and doesn't hold a candle to X-men D.o.f.p. I really enjoyed Man of Steel and it took the bad taste of Superman Returns out of my mouth. |

I hate Turtles Forever. HATE.
I hate with a violent loathing any mention of a Turtles Multiverse. The only one that got it right was Nick TMNT, who called them dimensions. Nick TMNT supplanted the OT for me as a favorite. I consider the 80's Zelda cartoon to be my definitive Legend of Zelda. the only games that 'count' are the first two Legend of Zelda games made, with A Link Between Worlds having honorable mention. None of this lame 'timeline' business. I consider Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom to be my favorite Indy movie. I don't have any interest in the others. I hate Power Rangers. Thought it was hokey when the first show aired, still think it's hokey now. I like the idea of Bat Nipples on Batman. I think they're cool. |

I don't like DC and Marvel comic books. There's no point in reading stories with no endings, and the "suits" make writers quit or change in the middle of a story and all the characters get worse year in and year out. Character deaths being reversed, retcons, having to buy 10 different comics for one story, etc. is all god awful.
I have to stick to the cartoons and movies to get my DC/Marvel fix. I know I'm missing out on a lot of stories that are never adapted for the cartoons or movies, but what can you do? |

Another unpopular opinion... I think Hammer's Dracula AD 1972 is, in fact, the best of the Hammer Dracula series. I mean, it's not just a case of me adoring it (although I do) - I honestly can't understand why it was so critically panned.

For me, David Lynch's "Lost Highway" is an outstanding dark adventure in the positive sense. Everything is perfectly in tune, images, people, music, scenes ...
The story is on some points, just at core sites, for the moment confusing and leaves room for interpretation. My enthusiasm is not shared by many. |
