I feel like 130-140 minutes would be a perfect runtime.

Transformers: Age of Extinction was not a terrible film by any means, but it was pretty bad, and a lot of what made it bad became increasingly apparent the longer the film went on, making it's runtime it's greatest weakness. The movie bordered on being three hours long. For an action adventure film with little to no plot and thin on character development, that's too god damn long. The Avengers was even shorter than that, though not by much.

This movie should be two hours at maximum. Two and a half or more? Nu-uh. No way.

I wouldn't trust that, since other sites don't have the running time yet.

93 minutes is way to short for a movie of this scale.

Don't trust the runtime on Fandango until you can preorder tickets from the site.

Liebesman said the runtime of the film is just under 100 minutes in an interview at superherohype.com

Bah, I hit 1.5 hours and meant 2

Oh well, we know it's under 100 minutes. Probably closer to 90 minutes if the end credits are typically included in the run time.

Sounds about right. After the near three hours of Transformers 4, this is definitely welcome.

I'll admit I'm a liiitle bit disappointed it isn't longer... But that it's well put together is far more important then run time! There seems to be a trend of making movies too long lately, I've seen some that could benefit from an extra round in the cutting room...

The funny thing is the Ninja Turtles have had more screentime in the footage released thus far than Godzilla had in his entire movie! How the tables have turned....(Btw, I loved Godzilla!)

True...but with the ways the trailers set things up, I'm feeling more optimistic.

Think about it, there's the full Snow Chase scene, Turtle Lair invasion, Underground Hostage fight, Turtle Van scene and the Final Battle with Shredder which really haven't been shown off that much.

There's definitely a lot more of the Turtles we haven't seen and I'm afraid, a LOT more of Megan Fox that we haven't seen, seeing how she's not that much featured in the previews!

doesnt bother me - we've glimpsed those scenes, so I imagine once they are fleshed out, and we see them in context, itll be just the right amount.

on another note - 90 mins? I wouldnt be surprised, considering the sheer amount of work that went into this per the 'Inside the Action' special. and quite honestly, minus a few promo images that came out early on when they were still working on the CG, all the focus has been on the Turtles as of late.

I'm fine with it being an hour and a half give or take.

A lot of movies nowadays overstay their welcomes like crazy. Godzilla was too long, TRANSFORMERS oh my god. If it was just a half hour shorter I think I would've liked it more.

Don't get me started on all of these comedy movies that think they're worth a 2 hour run time.
