If Venus show up in this movie or the sequel, how you will react?

Joke aside, I really don't know! Venus did had potential but TMNT the next mutation was badly done. For one they shouldn't have never make Venus the protagonist or make her the mary sue of the TMNT. To returned to my question; if done right I wont mind see her again.

I'd probably sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch the meltdown on the technodrome. Not withstanding, I'm not a fan of her either, but I'm not as passionate about it as some are.

I would watch 5 threads on the drome go to 50 pages in just a few hours. I actually think the movie universe might go crazy with mutations and if they do I can see them doing Venus even if not as a main character. Didn't the transformers movie put a bunch of transformers for the sake of it?

Without Laird the stupid restriction of no Venus is gone, what affects people the most is that she was one of the turtles from the origin and later becomes part of the turtles, get rid of that and just have her origin not include that part and boom, she's just another mutant.

I can only assume she'd show up for the typical relationship reasons for adding such characters... so, just no.

Really it's a shame for her because she might have been a cool character if she was done right and involved all along and not a tool, but... no thanks.

I think the only creative team capable of doing her justice would be the Nick series fellas, Ciro & Brandon, among others. That's where I'd accept her. Otherwise? Pass.

I'm trying to think of a legitimate reason to dislike Venus, and I'm coming up empty.

If people have a problem with her being female, that's ridiculous. Her origin? Doesn't really affect anyone or thing. It's actually good for building off of and allows her to have a general sense of different views and beliefs. Another mutant turtle isn't a problem, because Slash. And her personality is the kind of thing easily changed and improved by a competent writer.

Really, seems to me all the backlash is either from her simply being female or such a character getting a poor initial representation and introduction from a questionable series.

So all in all, eh, sure, I'm OK with her. If anything, now that the idea has been put out there, I'd like to see her introduced into the IDW series. I don't doubt for a moment that the creative team of the IDW comic would do a fantastic job of mixing her into things.

Yeah, was gonna say, it'd be absolutely perfect for the movie universe. "Just throw it all in there without rhyme or reason!" I can't think of too many places that'd be a "better" fit for Venus.

If Donnie's Ghostbuster costume and Mikey's ability to punch through steel doesn't turn you off, then you probably shouldn't have a problem with Venus, either. What's one more badly-executed idea on the pile?
