One thing I just thought of...

I'm wondering if Xever and Rahzar end up dying in the season finale? This might be how they bring in Bebop and Rocksteady (he has Baxter make 'replacements') and it would be a seamless transition from the old goons to the new ones. Shredder just might end up sacrificing everything in his craziness, and I wouldn't be surprised if he sends his old goons to their deaths.

I'm not sure if they'd do a big death like that in a Nick cartoon, but then again, LoK usually kills off a character each season.

At least they put that in. It was a bit stupid in the first finale how they didn't have any military fighting the Technodrome.

Yeah I agree, The regular stuff is all good but when its stuff like that some human intervention should be shown just a little, but its all good its just an awesome trailer

You never know. I think it was said by one of the Nick TMNT guys a while back that not every villain was going to have a happy ending or something like that, and having them just die off en masse right at show's ending would look too contrived.

Wow, this trailer got me totally pumped!! Just when I wanted to got to bed, haha.

Can't wait for the Mikey episode. They did a great job with his character in recent episodes so I'm positive they will do here as well. I so hope this gives him another chance to mature.

Is it really official that we have to wait till September though? This whole July without any episodes was already hard, especially after 'Vengeance Is Mine'.

But I have a question. English is not my first language so I don't really get what you guys mean with this "Leo One-Shot". I only know One-Shot in the sense of stories with only one chapter or just one issue of a magazine... Doesn't really make sense with Leo.

I'm not saying death isn't possible. I definitely think they're gonna kill off Shredder some time in the show as a final battle.

They are referring to the original Leo micro issue from the mirage comics. It's where Shredder returns and gives Leo a harsh beating, throwing him through a window just like the nick series is gonna do:

It was also adapted in the 4kids series and in the first movie.

This will be the 4th time seeing this story.

The first movie didn't really adapt it or if it did, it was extremely poorly handled IMO!

LOL, what? They switched Leonardo for Raphael and adapted it exactly like the comic just without Shredder being there.

That's what I'm thinking too about the Shredder, but it couldn't hurt them to show those two dying just to give them a proper sendoff. Otherwise it just looks like they're forever getting nerfed, and the two new additions will push them back even further down the totem pole.

A one-shot is a self contained story, still connected to the greater lore of that iteration, but not needing you to read any previous stories of that series to understand it.

The Leo one-shot is Shredder's return, and Leo is on his own. Leo takes on the entire Foot clan and is badly beaten and is thrown through the window. The Turtles fight against Shredder, but are forced to leave to Northampton.

They replaced Raph with Leo (Which is stupid, because even though Raph's my favorite, Leo got so much more character development.) and Shredder wasn't there. Plus, the Leo one-shot had an effect in the TV series and comics, and it didn't really have too big of one in the show.

I think Mondo Gecko is a great addition to the Nick TMNT series. Mikey will finally have someone he can relate to, Much like how, Raph and Casey Jones relate to each other.
