This trailer is amazing! It looks like (Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not extremely familiar with all the comics yet) Mirage #10/Leonardo #1 is happening?!?

I'm not too keen on Mondo returning, I didn't really like him, but I'm hoping that his version of him will be alright. I'm hoping his origin is a little more interesting as opposed to 'He was in the ooze with the turtles and then some random dude who was for some reason wandering the sewers picked him up (and not the turtles oddly enough) and made him a thug'
Seemed tacked on.

It seems the humans turn mutant wear clothes more than the animals turn mutant (except for Rahzar and Fishface), so perhaps Mondo will start out as a human.

I'm SO happy Leatherhead is back!

I feel like the season finale is going to make the wait for season 3 almost unbearable! BUT I'M SO EXCITED!

I think they said at the panel, that the show will return in september, but I'm not sure if there's an exact date yet

Well, did they say that season 2 will air in September or do they mean season 3? Because from what I've read from others, they just said that the last few episodes are "coming up" and to me that means that they'll be coming up soon such as in August while season 3 may premiere in September. Makes sense in a way, and I hope this is the case.

I really like this version of Mondo Gecko, I actually prefer it to te OT one. It looks like a gecko now, and not like a random lizard.

I hope it won't be spoiled by playmates as an action figure...

Can someone give me the quick rundown of what they announced at SDCC? All I heard was Donnie is gonna step in as leader (awesome) and Mikey is gonna get stuck in Dimension X (awesome, not for him though lol) I don't even know if those two are true. So what happened?

Hi guys I have so far posted everything I’ve personally seen concerning the SDCC Nick TMNT panel but I will now, as promised, compile what I’ve learnt so far. Obviously I wasn’t there so if I miss anything or details are incorrect I apologise. Let me know ASAP and I will try and rectify. There is a LOT to get through. Hope you’re sitting comfortably.

Word on the street is that we will get these in September. I’m guessing they want to avoid the initial kerfuffle when the film hits in August, but still strike while the iron is hot and the franchise is in everybodys’ minds.

Possible Season 3 Episodes
#1 - Within The Woods
#15 - The Noxious Avenger

- Kraang invasion and it’s on a WAY bigger scale than the end of season one.
-Gilbert Gottfried is voicing ‘a’ Kraang. (Iago from Aladdin btw)
- The turtles WILL leave New York.
- The lair is infiltrated by the Kraang using Dimension portals so the early warning system in the sewers has no chance to kick in.
- Splinter is captured and sacrifices his freedom to allow April and the turtles to escape. I believe Raph is not in the lair at this point, you don’t see him on the footage and he is probably ‘up top’ with Casey.
- One of Donnie’s inventions looks set to be destroyed. Seeing as we later see the ‘party wagon’, some have suggested the Shellraise is blitzed/attacked, rendering it out of action.
- But we do see a fully realised Turtle Mecha that Donnie drew in Plan 10.
- Tea party girl returns and is seen in the arms of the pizza delivery boy, who is trying to protect her during the invasion. Pizza boy may possibly become Mondo Gecko, who will be voiced by Robbie Rist. Pre-production artwork shown has a production code of 317, so if we don’t see him before, he arrives mid to late season 3 (episode 17).

- More fighting between Shredder and Splinter but out in the open New York streets, in daylight.
- The Leonardo ‘one-shot’ from Mirage is happening. We don’t know if it’s fully or partly but there dedicate a good section of the trailer to it so it is playing a major part. Leo and Donnie clash over how to take on the Kraang invasion and Leo is seperated from the guys. He will be put out of action by Team Shredder and Donatello is forced to stand up as leader of the team.
- Leatherhead returns and has to duel Shredder.
- We have a new villain appearing in season three called Creep and he may well appear in the first episode because the production code for the artwork seen at gallery nucleus’ TMNT art exhibit says 301. He attacks April and Casey ‘in the woods’ so they will be all out of the city at this point.

- Muckman is returning to the show and a character called Joe Eyeball. Again, production code is 315, so mid season, episode 15ish, is when they will possibly show up.

- There are new characters called the Dream Beavers. I don’t know if they’re villains/allies but they look creepy. They will be voiced by Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) and John Kassir (the Crypt Keeper). I imagine them to be a cross between Sir Malachi, who can create visions and the Squirrelanoids (although one looks like the backwards cousin of a Care Bear…)

- Another ‘new’ character is Napoleon Bonafrog, voiced by Napoleon Dynamite actor Jon Heder. I don’t know/think we see the other three frogs though.

- At some point Mikey is trapped in Dimension X and his brothers go in to rescue him, only to discover he’s been there for ‘months’? And he’s been surviving either by himself or with the aid of Leatherhead. Apparently time passes differently in Dimension X than it does on earth.
- New toys were revealed including ones of the ‘vision quest turtles’ in the visual history book so I’m guessing that storyline is definitely happening while they’re driven out of New York.
- Nothing, surprisingly, has appeared concerning Karai (or Kiba as snake-Karai may be called).
- Also, although we know that Renae Jacobs (80s cartoon April) is appearing season three, I don’t think her role/character was revealed.

I'm not surprised by the September airing, cause it was either that or finish right before the movie airs, which runs the risk of the show being lost in the shuffle in the TMNT fandom.

Just better to let the movie run it's course first and then pick the show back up.

Plus with New York Comic Con in early October, they can finish Season 2 late September and then jump right into Season 3 and show everything else they want there.
