Probably half and half. The human story (even the ultimate objective to the plot) was pretty light. There are even make tongue-in-cheek monologues moving the plot forward at times.

I'm not fully aware what that is, so I would so no. They are kids for a very brief segment.

I'm talking about this, This was a TMNT Movie Promo, And we were all assuming that Splinter might of told about a Legend to the Turtles.

Really sounds like some of the speculation was true, that they really played down the Japanese influence so the film would play better in China. To me, the Japanese backstory and Yoshi/Saki rivalry isn't extraneous. That's a major bummer they cut that.

Despite fans wanting this, I would never introduce that plot element into any film. It's basically a less silly version of the IDW series which was welcome in the theater.
