thats funny... i almost thought i posted this last night. i swear i posted the same thread with the same exact title. but your actual post is not like mine at all. i hope to get the blu ray though. but first i have to watch the pirated version of it. im still waiting for a good torrent copy of it

Its interesting that they would have Pre-Orders of the Blu-Ray already out, Yet there is no info on whats in it, Sure the movie, But it would be nice to know what Special Features it comes with.

For me I hope its got Director's Commentary, Maybe Commentary from the Writers as well.

Deleted Scenes with Commentary, That is a must.

BTS Documentaries on the making of this film, I bet they will have a Documentary on the History of TMNT, Maybe they should include the Turtle Power Documentary as part of the Package.

Target will have collectable packaging of each turtle but on the preorder they will ship them out random so that will have to be an in store buy to get the turtle you want

This is a popular trend right now. As a tentpole flick hits screen, pre-orders hit Amazon, with temp cover art, no release date, and no info on special features or variations of versions offered.

I'm with you. I don't pre-order until I know what'll be available. I always try to get the version with the most special features, which often means buying a "3D Blu Ray + Blu Ray + Special Features + DVD + Digital Copy + VHS + Betamax" edition.

I pre ordered 2 from target, hoping I get a Donnie cover cuz that one was my favorite poster

I'm sure those statues will make their way to ebay at some point... No née to spend 80...

dude they might send you two of the same! you should just go in store the day they come out.. it doesn't save those covers are pre order exclusive..

That's cool, But I think I'll get the one from Amazon, Since its got the 3D version and that cool statue.

wal-mart version sucks (but target's is worse for an 'exclusive')

those little plastic toys look worse than gashapon you'll probably throw them in a drawer and forget you even own them

on the other hand, the raph statue in the amazon version could end up being rather nice. could sit that on a shelf and admire it for decades.

Here is the way I see it... even though the movie was a disappointment to me and the overall design of the 2014 turtles is not to my liking, it's still an interesting alternate take on them and I actually think Raph is the best looking of the 4. hopefully in the next ten years we'll have a new turtle movie out by then and if the gods are good it will be WAY better than the 2014 version. Even then, I'll still look back on the 2014 designs with curiosity and it will be nice to own a statue like this to remind me of it.

It had its good moments. But not enough of them.

Anyone who thought it was anything more than "just okay" should watch more movies

I love how the statue looks gi-normous pictured with the disc case and then says it's 6.5 inches tall.

But the cover art looks great as does the statue and the display box. Such a blatant money grab.. I definitely getting this.
