My list is will play off the quote from Moneyball.

There are rich teams (1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and there are poor teams (Secret of the Ooze, TMNT, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III).

Then there's 50 feet of crap, and then there's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014.

Eloquent. I know it's a quote, but wouldn't it be more accurate to say TMNT 2014 is the 50 feet of crap?

Not in terms of the quote and specifically the scene it's taken from. It's about just how ridiculously poor the A's are. Changing the financial implications from financial to quality, the 50 feet of crap is better than TMNT 2014 in terms of quality.

I loved it, and I thought it was going to be impossible to make a viable film adaptation out of the book.

Were the cases the same? Why would they start making new DVD's to pack in with those "super poseable turtles" that were really just repainted mikey's from that rc skateboard

It was such an odd combo there has to be a reason they started selling them, especially since they were only 11 bucks each when I got mine

If you honestly think TMNT III is better than the new movie then YOU are 50 feet of crap

Hate the new movie all you want but when you say the god-awful third movie is better than it your credibility goes down the toilet

That I don't remember. I gave my duplicate copy to a former room mate when we parted company.
EDIT: Been browsing around and no the sleeve is even different.

Yeah, TMNT 3 was pretty terrible. Almost unwatchable...Almost.

Good to know. Man what were they thinking

There has to be some financial/inventory related reason for their decision to bundle the third movie with those repaints, and I can't figure out why.

TMNT 1990-This one by a long shot. The story, the costumes, the tone. Wish there had been more fighting with weapons but that's my biggest gripe. My most watched movie ever and one of my most fav.

TMNT 2014-Far from perfect, a jumbled mess (aren't most turtle movies) but I loved the fighting, the jokes, and had a really enjoyable time watching it. Prefer smaller more traditional looking turtles. It was cool to see Splinter fight, however his voice didn't do anything for me. Didn't hate Megan Fox like I feared I would.

TMNT III-Generally the most hated, but as a kid I was so disappointed how SOTO was so different than the original 1990 version that I could never get into it too much, so I give this one the slight edge. I was glad Casey was back even in an odd way, some reason I thought the turtles looked badass dressed like Samurai. The costumes were ugly, but I get enjoyment from watching.

TMNT II-I miss Judith! Where is Casey? Is that slash? Super Shredder is so awesome, for 10 seconds. I thought Keno was fun, but I felt it was such a goofy movie I was always let down from the first one. 2014, SOTO, and TMNT III are pretty much all ranked the same for me depending on the day.

TMNT 2007-For me almost unwatchable, can't stand anything to do with the Nightwatcher, but I loved Karais voice. I thought the turtles looked good. Hated the monsters.

I'm 21 now but even as an eight year old I noticed the difference in overall quality between the first two and the third. When I was eleven I even remember them packaging extra copies of the TMNT III dvd's with 11'' tmnt figures just to get rid of them

If you honestly rate the third movie above the new one you're either just being negative or you have horrible taste in movies and your opinion should never leave your own head

My order (based on enjoyment not critical analysis):

TMNT(1990)
TMNT(2014)
TMNT II
TMNT 07

Not even going to include the third one because that would be implying it's a movie

TV shows (although I haven't watched any of the cartoons since I was a kid):

'87 series
2k3 series
Nick Series (not really sure if it's bad, I can't watch an episode without cringing)
Next mutation
You say this yet you say you can't watch the Nick show without cringing? Yeah, no.
