This episode description makes me think they are airing the final episodes out of order. I think The Invasion is the 2 part season finale. Hopefully it's just a mixup.

I doubt it, I think this is just confirming they have a set date for the finale.

Maybe that's why I'm thinking they might stop at Season 4, they won't be 'teens' anymore.

We also don't know the time continuity between episodes or seasons. Such as Plan 10 where Donnie says the communication orb hadn't gone off for at least a couple of months. I know just because we don't see them celebrate their Mutation Day doesn't mean it doesn't happen, it just isn't acknowledged. But still the next mutation day they could be celebrating could be their 16th.

What? They have these two Invasion episodes as the next ones to air. Based on what we know it's fair to say The Invasion 2 parter is the finale. If that's the case then they'll be airing out of order unless zap2it made a mistake.

Zap2It having these eps listed as 23 and 24 doesn't mean anything as this site frequently makes errors with production code order. Hopefully Futon Critics listings will be updated soon as those always have the correct production code listing.

It's a wait and see game right now, frankly I think we all know that these last 4 four episodes are all linked together. It's basically an unnamed 4 part story with 2 different episode titles splitting them in half. Transformers G1 was known to do that a lot with unnamed 2 or + part stories.

Looks like this is going to be the longest wait ever... 10 weeks!! It better be worth it!

For the record, the second longest wait we had was 9 weeks, from The Pulverizer Returns to Parasitica (although it was technically a 5-week wait as Parasitica aired in UK one month before US)

The other times we had to wait 8 weeks was from Showdown to The Mutation Situation, and from Slash and Destroy to The Good, The Bad, and Casey Jones

I don't think the show is really aging the characters. They do frequently acknowledge time passing (Donnie stating the Kraang communication orb hasn't worked in months, etc.) but never have they stated the characters are getting older. Their appearances haven't changed in the slightest and since it is still unknown how many seasons this show will run (I'm hoping for a lot) it would be unwise to already have the turtles be 18. Most cartoons never age their characters, and I'm fine with that. But if they were aging the turtles in this show, I' would guess they would be 16-17 right now.
