I have heard this exact comment and I agree. The glasses don't work. They just look really out of place. Don't dig the doo rag either. His upper half says 50cent while his lower half says He-man. Raph is having an identity crisis.

How bout this?

Otherwise, if I imagine this as Future adult Raph then it's not half bad. As a teen Raph, I don't buy it. Also how does he fit down that sewer manhole?

I like that better - I didn't hate the bandana though.

Don't hate the do-rag either. It's the sunglasses I think he could do without.

I never buy two versions of a movie on the exact day a movie is released with different versions and store exclusives. But I have to say that I really want that Raph statue and the Raph cover of the Target version. And the Target version also comes with an extra disc. I may get the Amazon version for the statue and the Target one for the movie. I could gift the Amazon movie to a friend I guess.

By the way, I think the release date might be December 9th. I think someone from forum.blu-ray.com said that they saw that date attached to the release dates of these new TMNT 2014 Movie releases. I also heard that Best Buy's exclusive will be a steelbook.

Since they started releasing the movies with 2D and 3D on the same date, I'm only buying the 3D versions of them. I have a device that lets me watch 3D Blu-Rays on my 2D HDTV.

Good lord, that would redeem almost half of Raph's crappy "hulk tough guy brute" attributes if they designed him like this. That design is great.

I don't get the toothpick of sunglasses either.

Man did this movie suck....

Don't worry.

The haters who bashed the movie are the same ones who bought tickets to see the movie, and will also buy it on DVD/blu ray/etc.

Some fans are weird like that.

Actually, I can proudly say I did not. Didn't buy a ticket, didn't see it, and not buying the DVD/Blu ray...some just don't understand the appeal of wanting Bulletproof Super Heroes in an April O'Neil movie instead of Ninja Turtles with perhaps at least a bit of actual character development, some actual emotional parts that aren't phony & are earned...as well as being the star of their own movie (and perhaps doing many memorable and bad-ass Martial Arts fight sequences where they show skill, not just Brute Strength or 'hey, we can slide down a mountain').

So yes...I guess some of us are weird for wanting that in a Ninja Turtles film.

But you wouldn't KNow any of that for a fact Because you haven't watch it, Good on you. Nope it kind of funny people call us sheep yet people are out there fallowing other opinions as fact Hilarious.

Its not a April movie She is about as involved as she was in the first movie, is she more integrated into the mythos sure but no more then IDW. There is plenty of Character development, their is plenty of emotional parts, that are very earned, They are most certainty stars of this movie, and there are Memorable fights with bad ass martial arts, But you know people who tell you how and what to think are always right? right? lol OK

No offense but there was not one ounce of character develop for the turtles in this movie. Everyone stayed the same from beginning to end. Yeah, I felt like I was watching the April O' Neil movie because a majority of the film was about her. The turtle's story wasn't even the focus of the film.

Pretty much, yeah - Mikey stayed a perverted creep, Don remained an unlikable nerd who calculated things to the millionths, Leo was just sort of there... but I actually think Raph got a tiny bit of character development with his speech at the end. Too bad they used it as the setup for a stupid joke though.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, not seeing anything via search, but Walmart's details at least are saying release date of 04/30/2015.

If that's legit I suppose it somewhat makes sense since theater openings are so spread apart, but kinda stinks if they won't have it up for grabs for Christmas. (Also stinks that the 30th is 8 days after my b-day so can't even suggest it as a gift for that either. Drat. lol)

Its probably a place holder date until its given an official date. It would make sense to be released the first Tuesday of December. We may know until October as we close in on the last of the international releases.
