I was rewatching the second Rat King episode and it has me even more curious about Mikey. He was licking ICK, but it came in contact with mutagen, but Mikey wasn't affected. In Pizzaface, Mikey ate him, no reaction (although I still say it was a dream). In Mikey gets Shellacne, he used that reject batch of Retromutagen, and technically, no real reaction....sort of. Only his zits grew out of control. Think this could be foreshadowing something?

Not going to lie... The discription with Karai sounded sooo much better.
Of course I'm quite aware that an episode about Donnie's jealousy was inevitable, but now? Don't they have an alien invasion to stop? Shouldn't he be thinking about a way to create more Retromutagen, especially for Karai?
Priorities, ladies and gentlemen...

As for "Into Dimension X!" I also hope they give Mikey some development, but please not offscreen. I don't want them to just throw Mikey through the portal, have him be on his own for 5 months and boom - when his brothers find him, he suddenly matured. That'd be just lazy writing. I want to see characters grow, not just being told they did. So, depending on how they handle that episode, I'm kind of nervous about it...

yea....I'm afraid Mikey getting thrown into Dimension X and being saved is going to be too quick.....we probably aren't going to see how he survived...

and he'll probably back to his old self by the end of the episode.

(would have been a cool 2 parter....)

I kinda doubt that'll be the only thing going on. I guess something is going to trigger the jealousy, but I couldn't see him not working on the retromutagen or his mech.

So true...
I mean, even if we only get like 2 or 3 short scenes of Mikey on his own in Dimension X, fending for himself or fighting various aliens, I'd still be totally okay with the episode maturing him like that. Because we would at least see it.
I just don't want them to throw Mikey through a portal, not to be seen again until his brothers find him and wondering what happened to him.

Sorry if I sounded overly negative, I was just really looking forward to Karai. And as long as this "ghost" doesn't turn out to be her this episode will just come across as somewhat "off" to me. I mean her mutation was handled as very tragic and dramatic, but suddenly she isn't getting an episode dealing with that? Just feels weird.
And I'm pretty sure Donnie is already jealous of their relationship but until now it didn't seem to bother him that much. Since it's in the discription it seems to me that the jealousy will be playing a rather big role.
Yeah, Donnie is surely working on all this stuff, but he should be working on it... more? Not wasting his time on petty jealousy stuff? That's what I meant. I actually wouldn't mind an episode regarding this topic but it's just that the timing is very bad. That's mostly why I'm not to happy about it.

Why now? If any thing they could have at least waited till season three to do this as a filler episode.

Before the invasion, that Karai plot would have made more sense to do. It could have lead up to the Shredder V.S Leo showdown in the final some more, now I'm angry. What is this? Legend of Korra season one all over again?

I thought Don was over his jealousy with Casey, as it seemed that way by the end of "Wormquake." This makes me think they're paralleling the Yoshi/Saki/Shen triangle with Don/April/Casey. And if so that's pretty damn cool. Bring it on!

I do agree it would have been better to have Karai there as that description sounded awesome, but ah well. I still can't wait for more Turtles!

Yeah I thought so too, so I can't help but wonder what's going to trigger it since it hasn't been very prominent. I'm assuming they want to get it out of the way before the events of them having to flee.

I can only think of one scene, but in "Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman" Donnie said something along the lines of: "Two kisses in one day... Eat it, Casey Jones!"
So, that definetely showed that there's still some rivalry, imo. At least on Donnie's side.
