Smashboards is freaking out because Famitsu (or CoroCoro), had scans of Smash showing off the Pyrosphere level, and the description is, "a big shadow of a creature can be seen from above." obviously refering to the same Ridley shadow seen in one of the directs months ago. Some are having nervous breakdowns because they believe Ridley has been, "deconfirmed."

I dunno, its possibly Ridley can be both a boss and a playable character, since the boss would be the Other M Ridley which is a clone, while the "real" Ridley can be playable.

Well in the 3DS version, Toon Link is the conductor of the train in the Spirit Tracks level. Yet if you play as Toon Link, he's replaced by Alfonzo.

I think this is the only instance we've seen of a playable character also be a part of a stage. I'll hope for Ridley to be playable until the roster is 100% revealed or Sakurai flat out confirms he won't be.

People have wanted Ridley playable ever since he showed up in Melee's opening fighting Samus. That was back in 2001, so some of us have been waiting 13 years for Ridley in Smash.

You should have seen the fandom erupt back in 2008 when Brawl's final roster was shown and Ridley wasn't playable and Mewtwo was gone.

I don't see how my complains aren't valid unless I keep repeating myself which I don't think I have too much, i'ts not like they are deal breakers for me or anything, just annoyances. Like I said the way the game is right now is already good enough for me, anything else is just gravy. I'm actually not expecting more than one new comer being announced based on the wording after the Robin reveal so anything more than that would surprise me a lot. Can't wait to play online, I always enjoyed Brawl online, I know people complain about the lag but I only had problems once and that's when I moved to a new place with ****** internet. A more robust system should be great.

Who will you guys "main", I will be using Pikachu. I was in full Pokemon-mania mode when Smash came out so I would always choose him and became great with him. I tried to switch to Mewtwo during Melee and Pikmin in Brawl but I was never able to so I expect it'll be the same here, He just feels "right" for me. Too bad his final smash kind of sucks.

Considering Microsoft owned Rare before Brawl was made that seems like a poor character to want in.

Sonic is my favorite, I don't get to use him much as I only own Melee. It's my friends who have Brawl. But I'm very much looking forward to Little Mac and Mega Man.

Bowser JR looks AWESOME, looks like Duck Hunt Dog will be in (MY PERSONAL big WANT). Now the all the Fire Embelm characters seem worse, since we get yet another sword character Shulk. At least he is from a unique franchise tho.

So it might also mean we get Dixie Kong aswell, since she was mentioned in the leak.
Sure hope this means Wolf and the Ice Climbers arn't cut.

Dixie Kong wasn't mentioned in any leak from this same leaker.

BUT, this leaker also claims that all the characters aren't unlocked, because All-Star mode is still inaccessible, so there's still hope for characters people want. However, the first mention of Bowser Jr in the Koopa Clown Car and Duck Hunt Dog also says Lucas, Wolf, Ice Climbers and Snake are all cut. Lucas was my most-played in Brawl by a mile, but if he's gone I'm OK with it. Ice Climbers were unique, so that's a bummer, but Wolf and Snake I couldn't care less about.

I'm satisfied with the roster as-is, but if one of the potential remaining characters is a Rhythm Heaven rep it'll be the absolute perfect roster. Aside from the stain of Dark Pit, but whatever.

Looks like the leak is pretty much confirmed to be legit. I was never on either side of things and I already got my two most-wanted characters so I'm good. And if I hadn't, I wouldn't have whined about it. Smash is amazing no matter who's in.

True. It's just the older I get, the more nostalgic I feel. Battletoads might seem like a poor character choice, but they no doubt made an impact in the Nintendo lore. I wouldn't even care if they were low teir fighters. Plus, I think the soundtrack would feature some amazing remixes for some of their tunes.

And just imagine the levels. How insane/frustrating would it be to fight on the Turbo Bikes?

That's just me, though. I'm happy enough for Mega Man and Little Mac.
