I have the sdcc Raphael which I assume is the same sculpt as these new omic versions. I gotta say, I was not pleased upon getting him. Nothin like Neca's version at all. Plus there was no wrist articulation which makes it even lamer. The sdcc Raphael is easily the bastard child of my turtle collection....

I didn't realize the comic turtles were coming out so soon! I had thought that those were part of the collector's line. I was hoping they'd at least paint the weapons but I'll still pick them up. That's if my area even gets these.

I mean they could have at least made the picture next to the name be that turtle instead of them all being Leo.

Oh well, at least I have my nice bootlegs of the neca turtles. Its really bad when you one can say that bootlegs beat the company that actually owns the rights to the characters.

Indeed. They could have at least used the face of each Turtles from #50 and not just Leo.

I like them. They're no NECA, but for $8.99 who really expected them to be?

Surely we'll be getting Bebop & Rocksteady in time for Christmas, right?

There's a bunch of people selling colored bootlegs of the NECA Turtles on eBay that I'm thinking of getting soon. Glad to see other people on here appreciate them!

I wonder what happened to make them be shipped like show toys aimed at kids then.

This image is the first I heard of playmates doing the mirage turtles, I just assumed they were beefing up their kids line with another variation of the turtles. But one that wouldn't require new accesories

Haha, they probably visited some of these forums and saw that the general public opinion was "Suck" and decided to save face by saying "oh these are for the kids, they were never intended for collectors".

I'd be fine if that were the case & it meant there were additional comic figures for collectors (Not that I'd get my hopes for those, either).

Same, especially since he's the one mutant villain who relatively scales enough for my OCD to not go "this is WRONG, get it out of my house"
