Personally the Donnie/April thing is something I actually really love about the show, just because they're turtles doesn't mean they can't go through regular 'teenage' drama things too. The hopeless romantic side of me really wants them to get together, but in the long run it's never going to happen.

I hope next season the Kraang don't take up too much time, I was kinda hoping their storyline would die with them at the end of S1, but to give them yet another 2 part finale just doesn't excite me as much because I was already excited for the S1 one and if they just keep coming back then there's no threat really

Here's hoping - I just feel like they took so long dragging out her finally admitting that Splinter is her father, and then her mutation was so emotional (for both the characters and for us to watch) - I'd hate to see the whole thing just put on the shelf while the guys are out of town doing other things. I don't like it when plot threads are left a-dangling (Mutagen Man, I'm looking at you...)!

I dunno, I just find this incarnation of Karai so interesting and funny and enjoyable; I guess I'd rather watch her than another April/Kraang episode. And if she became a regular member of the team, I really think it'd liven things up.

I love anything to do with Raphael, and I love the Leo with his connection with Karai and him growing more and more as a leader, and Mikey with his humor. And yes, 2k3 did suffer from the heavy Leo arcs. There are four Turtles, each with their fan base, is it really that hard to write a show for a season where each one has their time to shine, on an equal basis?

Well, I meant this in a general sense towards those who actually did, so that wouldn't apply to you.

To be honest, though, all four have grown on me. I do agree that Raph and Mikey could use more story lines, as it does feel like the Leo & Donnie show. Still ironic though, compared to the OT.

I still feel that Mikey and Raph will shine in the upcoming seasons. I've also grown to appreciate Mikey. He's definitely progressing, imo, compared to season 1. Even in Wormquake he was reliable to me, like when he instructed Leo and Raph to get to higher ground where it was possibly more safe and the other two listened and followed without question.

I'm looking forward to Mikey's Dimension X adventure and the backstory of Raph's anger.

I guess it's good not to have an overall favorite turtle, so I'm easily satisfied with pretty much anything we get. My favorite changes from medium to medium.

Did spoilers of season three say April was going to be apart of the group next season? If so, don't count on it

I just hope the last season focuses on Shredder / Karai / Leo plot.

That's because the 2003 series DID focus too much on Leo, but at least the plots were interesting.
Donnie episodes tend to have him trying to win over April or trying to prove his inventions meant something.
The Leo episodes in this show are probably my favorites. Not because Leo is my favorite Turtle, but because they are all about the Foot. I love the Turtles vs. Foot in this show, I just we would get more Raph episodes. Mikey I could care less because they've absolutely destroyed his character in my opinion (But I've got hope for that Dimension X episode), but Raph is my favorite Turtle and all he gets is filler episodes. Slash and Destroy and The Good, The Bad, and Casey Jones weren't filler and they were GREAT, which proves that Raph CAN have good episodes. I wish this show wasn't just the Donatello loves April show.

^ This. Give me Raph episodes. Give me Mikey episodes (if they develop his character.) Hell, even though they do focus on Leo a lot, at least his arcs are INTERESTING such as the Leo one-shot coming up.
Difference between April-Donnie and Leo-Karai: Donnie-April is shoved in your face CONSTANTLY and gets boring, while Leo-Karai isn't in the show too often, but does have its fair share.

I know I'm going to sound like one of those Raph fans who complain about the lack of Raphness, he may not be one of my favorites along with Mikey but I would like to see some more done with him.

I keep wondering this series what they could do to evolve his character more this series like the others but nothing comes to my mind. In the 2003 series we at least had that insane intense Leo / Raph rivalry to go on and his extreme anger that he needed to fix.

Leo / Raph's rivalry doesn't seem be going on this series, instead it's Leo / Donnie. I have a feeling, if we do get that scene that happened between Leo / Raph after the beat down Shredder gave him in the 2003 series that scene will go to Donnie use to the conflict they'll be having in the season final.

What can be done with Raph's character this series?

Exactly. Donnie episodes are too much about April, even the season 1 episodes when Casey wasn't even in the show.

And I hope to God they don't do that with the Leo one-shot. That fight really built Raph and Leo's relationship in the comics.

2003 Raph is my favorite. He didn't get too many centric episodes, but he did get development. The thing that I'll give the 2003 series is that they knew when to have a one-turtle centric episode. Most of the episodes were geared towards the Turtles as a group, take the Turtles in Space arc for an example. 2012, on the otherhand, just gives Donnie all of the attention to the point that Raph, Leo, and Mikey fans dread Donnie episodes.

But back to the Raph statement, just no. I don't wanna even think about them thinking about that. I could deal with the whole idea that it's Donnie who gets Leo driven out rather than Raph, because in the comics Leo went out on his own. I could also see Donnie feel a great amount of guilt to it, again because Raph never felt guilt from Leo's beat-down, just a great amount of anger.

But I'm hoping this Leo one-shot changes the series: In the comics, Raph became a ticking time-bomb, and eventually he exploded. I hope they do the same thing in this series, and it would fit really well especially if they're gonna dive into Raph's backstory like they said they would.
