It helps that in Season 1 I thought Raph and Splinter were completely abusive, now they have both calmed down a bit, Raph especially. Looking forward to his character moving forward.

Come to think of it, anyone else think the Turtle Mech should have had more screentime? It was really only used at the tail-end of the episode.

I saw wheels at its leg, maybe it can transform into a vehicle like a Transformers. Hopefully it will be used again one day to display its full potential. There just aren't enough time in this 2-parter to dedicate more screentime to the Turtle Mech, as it would reduce screentime for other plots that happened prior to that, and I couldn't think of any of those plots that can be shortened as it is. Overall I'm satisfied with what turned out.

Eh, I'm not. I would have scratched the whole invasion part, it took too much screen time away from the Leo one shot.

What would you do if there were more screentime dedicated to the Leo one-shot? I don't suppose the Foot Elite will show up as Fish Face/Rahzar/Tiger Claw already filled their role.

And how would you defeat Kraang prime without the Turtle Mech? I'd say it's been used well for now.

That wasn't problem.

The problem was they REVEALED it in the trailer...the Leo shot should have been a surprise.

I would have liked more one on one fighting between the Turtles, Casey, April and Shredder's henchmen after Leo got thrown through, instead of more Kraang sh!t. And why should the Turtles be the ones to fight the Kraang, let the government do it for once since they were the ones rolling into town, or better yet, they were using the mech suit, but then they have to bail because the Government was coming, and Bishop and crew come across the mech suit, and with later in season 3, Bishop admiring the handy work with the suit, it's what leads him on his quest to find Donatello. Maybe that quest leads him to the lair, and this is where he finds out that they already have had some success with anti mutagen, and this starts the ball rolling for Bishops hunt for the Turtles. With him having access to the lair, all of Donnie's records, the pictures and what not, he now can get inside of the Turtle's heads, know everything about them and become a serious threat. It's one thing when the villain just wants you dead, it's someting entirely different when the villain wants you, to see what your insides look like!

Ciro hinted from the beginning he was planning on doing that, so it was just a matter of time. Some people were just a little annoyed because the ending was almost just like the ending of the first season finale. Leo sacrificing himself to save the others, him believed to be almost dead near the end, Splinter facing off Shredder in a red hot fight, Leo and Donnie taking up the core of the screen time and Mikey and Raph reduced to supporting players.

but in other versions it's called

"second time around"

what does "second time about" even mean??? is that a typo??

It means stuff being reuse and re purpose. A lot of the antique use to belong to someone but are being sold again hence the term.

And no, Leo was already unconscious while he crashed through the window. He was barely breathing and remained unconscious throughout the rest of the episode. He didn't even get the chance to warn his brothers about Shredder, like Mirage/4Kids' Leo did.

By the way, the part that he pulled out the shorter knife out of the hand-grip of his sword, has he done that in any previous episode before? I can't recall.

No, but he did pull a knife out of his wrist wrap once. And thanks for answering the questions, Evan. Can't wait to see this on TV for sure!

And it was indeed awesome.

EDIT: Looking at the thumbnail makes me think it should be more like "Leonardo's Last Straw" with his rather 'rage-y' face (just made that one up obviously) going on.

You need to read the original comic to understand and appreciate the reference.

Even the first movie referenced this shop.

One thing I loved about Leo's big fight scene was the way his eyes looked. I don't think his eyes have ever looked like that in any fight before...it showed how serious and determined he was...I loved it!

If they did everything the same, there'd be no reason to do a new show in the first place.

That's why Northampton is now North Hampton as in the Hamptons in the New York/New England region.

Same thing with a slight tweak.
