I bought a Sonic Nendoroid off ebay from China last year. I knew it was a bootleg but it was cheap so I took a chance to see what the quality would be like since the pictures looked JUST like the real thing.
Pretty much everything falls apart on it. Legs, arms, nose... nothing will stay on. I have to pose it VERY carefully for it to stay in one piece. It still LOOKS about the same as real ones but clearly it is not. Anyway, he said his April has stiff joints so maybe he doesn't have to worry (as a side note, I have gotten some pretty cool bootleg LEGO minifigs off ebay, you have to be careful what you buy but some of them have been awesome) |

Nick Turtle Blimp
Thoughts on whether the Nick Turtle Blimp will be rare or hard to find? Kinda strapped for cash right now but don't want to wait too long and miss out on getting this unique toy.

Should have bought that when it was $15 at Target. Glad I got the lair at least.
China and Hong Kong stuff is a mixed bag. I advise avoid buying things like figma or nendos and figuarts from sellers located there. If the price is too good, obviously something is fishy. The good china stuff is usually factory rejects, they're usually stuff they rescued from the reject bin and sometimes piece together the decent parts to make an alright figure. |

It seems to be out in decent quantities and is carried by all the major retailers. So I don't expect it to disappear until at least some time just after Christmas when Playmates does their next big merchandise push.

I'm starting to get a little annoyed some more. I've been looking for the new turtles and tigerclaw, and still nothing, and I'm in Cali.
I guess I'm bein super impatient, but I'm really tired of seeing them on eBay for redicilous prices. And they keep listing it as "rare". I hope that isn't the true case. |

I'm in California and haven't seen them, nor has my sister who I have looking in her town too.
But I guarantee I will post here immediately when I spot them! |

I figured as much, but I ain't gonna lie. There's some figures as of recent that are kinda harder to get like the newtralizer, and sometimes rahzar. And usually when figures come kinda short packed in a case, all the scalper lover to stack up on em and try to sell them for more.

Did catch my first find of Donnie the Wizard of the L.A.R.P. turtles yesterday at Toys R Us. It did give me thoughts of Future Donnie from the Archie comics too. No Tiger Claw or Robotic Foot Soldier yet.

Yall get so nervous about not begin able to find a figure. Especially with Christmas right around the corner, you know it is going to be flooded, as they are every year. After a month or two, your going to start getting nervous about not finding bebop and rocksteady at Walmart (even though they are getting mass retail push)

I get concerned here when I can't find the figures.
I wanted the movie figures and there was nothing. A month or two later, they are everywhere, including April and the box sets. Next up will be the LARPs, and the comic classics ( still say those would work better in b/w). Everything turns up eventually. |

Posted on the "sightings" thread this morning. Found multiples of each comic turtle, Tiger Claw, and Foot in Omaha, Ne. today at Walmart. They are nice, but lack of wrist swivel is irritating. Plus no painted eyes on Tiger Claw. Just white.

After discussing the concern over figures, or the lack thereof, I got confirmation of the LARP set and the Neutralizer.
I think that the problem is the amount of figures released in a relatively short time. Over a two month period ( roughly), they released over a dozen Nick figures and the movie line. There are probably few stores that will bring in all of these in any quantity all at once. |
