I enjoyed it. I haven't seen all the 2k3 series yet (been watching it recently, I'm about halfway through season 2), but I was able to enjoy this movie. The only parts I didn't really like were how the Mirage Shredder was underused, and the anticlimactic ending where it was Bebop and Rocksteady's incompetence that defeated Utrom Shredder.

I found the under use of mirage shredder to be quite funny. It looked like a homage to how he died in the first issue.

Really loved the uncut version of this movie. I wish they'd give us the option of watching it in movie format or 3 individual parts similar to the way Shout!factory did with all the multiparters in their Transformers complete series/season sets.
I'm not from Aussie i just bought the Aussie version, i could care less about BTTS. But the uncut movie YES! YES! YES!!

Nick will never release the 2k3 series, if they were going to do it they would have done it by now. Why wait and hope, you'll be waiting another 10 years and asking yourself the same question. Heck its been 10 years already.

I might cave depending on how much the stuff will cost. Guess it's time to do a little research.

With Bebop and Rocksteady it was a thing for them in the OT, always screwing up their plans one way of another. And Krang even hints that this would happen anyway.

I never really caught onto that. Can you provide the example of the foreshadowing?

As much as I love Peter Laird, I wouldn't want him to write another OT crossover. I don't want to see the OT turtles as noogie loving Mikey clones EVER again. For the TMNT 2012 crossover, I hope they hire writers who has seen most of the OT episodes and know their personalities well.

- no crying like a bunch of babies
- no "attack of the noogies" crap
- no laughing and giggling in inappropriate times

Heck, hire David Wise to help write the episode.

Nick crossover? It's just a cameo.

Well, if they ever do another crossover in the future, I don't want them over exaggerated.

Yeah, same here. The OT turtles were nothing like that. That's the only thing I couldn't stand about the movie.

This reminds me of the 1995 Brady Bunch movie where the Bradys were living in the present time and everyone around them saw them as an annoyance due to their 70's lifestyle and moral lessons. They were over exaggerated and played out for laughs.

When Krang is being tied up he responds to Rocksteady "Let us hope you new boss finds you as useful as we have"

Even though the Turtles weren't my favourite characters in the franchise, I still greatly enjoyed Turtles Forever--was just about over the moon about it, and today still wish the R1 DVD was made better.

I'm on the side that considers it a tribute to all things Turtles, and that it wasn't bashing the OT to elevate 2K3. It was, at best, having a little fun with the contrast between the two universes, and the OT characters still managed to be helpful.

I would've liked to see the 2k3 continuity wrapped up a little better, in a different piece, but what we got was decent closure to it after the end of season 7.

My only complaint was the mix styles of animation. I wanted the art style of seasons 1-5 not FF and BTTTS style turtles. Plus in FF and later they were so much bigger in size. In seasons 1-5 they were about the same size as OT etc, 1-5 is the turtles everyone loves and remembers. Plus it just looks weird with the clashing of 3 different art styles in the whole movie. The OT turtles were great, then you had the sharp edge style 2K3 turtles next to them in the same scene and it looks weird. Have the art be consistent! I mean just look at my sig, what the hell that doesn't look like its from the same movie does it?

OT leo is round, nice shading, 2K Leo is pointing, too shiny looks like Japanese anime all in the same scene.

I didn't like the disrespect to the OT in turtles forever but all in all it was a good movie cause they made them look serious and helpful too. But I don't want the turtles crossing over with the 2012 thing. I know it's already booked but the 2012 turtles make the OT turtles look like Hannibal lector. There's no way they can look more stupid than the nick series but I know they'd try to do that. Also They could just throw some suggestive pie jokes at Leonardo, and can't really take Sean Astin serious in anything beside Encino man. Nonetheless this is turtles forever talkback thread not nick universe thread. So keep it OT and 2k3 if you can. The only crossover I could see being done now is a type of serious toned apocalypse theme. Where he world is coming to and end all the villains team up all the allies team up in OT but they have to open up the portal again to get help from their 2k3 buddies.

David Wise hasn't wrote anything Turtles since 1995, I don't know if he'd even be able to write the Turtles the way he used to.
