Caseyjonesfan's Growing Collection

I finally decided I would start a thread for my collection I've been working on regrowing. about a year and a half ago my ex sold a little over 3/4ths of my collection for $40 then left me a few months later. I've been trying to regrow and recollect my collection. Unfortunately there were a lot of pieces I doubt I will be replacing anytime soon due to how much they were worth but I am just glad I managed to keep what I kept. So here I wil post pictures of my current collection and everything as try to catalog it and as my things grow.

So as a starter I thought there's no better way than to do this then to post my very first tmnt item ever, the one that started my hardcore addiction and what helped me through a rough childhood. My 1988 Michelangelo Plush:

This was given to me when I was around 3 or 4 years old by my cousins who got me into Ninja Turtles and from that point on actually bought me a lot of the tmnt toys and comixs I had growing up.

Next is my small (but satisfying to me) autograph collection:

My first autograph was from Cam Clarke (original cartoon Leonardo/Rocksteady). I got into contact with him about 5 years ago and we emailed eachother back and forth for quite sometime. Cam is such a wonderful guy, he listened to a lot of my teenage drama and always tried to give advice to me. If you're wondering why the name on itsays Aubrey and all my others say Levon, this was back when I went by Aubrey and had planned to legally change my name. Things never got anywhere with that so I just started going by my given name again.

I have a small note in the back of the frame from Cam that I need to move to the front but keep forgetting about. I will post an updated picture soon.

Greg Berg (stand in for Barry Gordon for a few episodes.)

FCBD 25th anniv. #1 Reprint signed in gold with a Turtle head by Kevin Eastman

These are from Rose City Comic Con 2014, just a few weeks ago. The original voice cast was there for a 30th anniv. Reunion. I got everyone except Rob Paulsen who I did get to meet and talk to for a few minutes. I drew pictures for them all and Rob told me to give him a job when I get famous. definitely made me feel encouraged.

Here's Renae Jacobs (April O'Neil and Lotus Blossom)

Cam Clarke (Leonardo and Rocksteady)

Townsend Coleman (Mikey, Rat King, Electrozapper, etc). He did the voices for me and stood there talking to me as Mikey and Rat King for probably 10 minutes it was so awesome you could see me blushing through my facepaint. The facepaint unfortunately made me look pretty feminine and I didn't realize that he signed it "dudette" until I got home, for those who don't know I am a guy haha. Oh well though.

Barry Gordon (Donnie and Bebop).
I ran out of money for autographs by the time I got past Cam, Townsend and Renae but Barry was so kind and kept insisting (in bebop's voice I may add) that I take an autograph in exchange for the drawing I had done for him!

And here are a few pictures of me meeting them. They asked to get pictures with me instead of the otherway around, they were all so awesome and it was defintely a dream come true!
Also note my costume was unfinished so that's why I don't have the black hoodie.

My favorite childhood shirt, I framed to keep looking pretty and from getting trashed

Barnes and Noble exclusive double sided sign with gorgeous art by Eastman

Some of my figures on display. i have 2 other small shelves with some figures on them as well as my moc stuff. I plan to convert this self into a diorama but am only barely started on that. Ignore the vhs tape in the back, I dug it out and planned to get it signed at comic con and never got around to putting it away.

Moving on to comics, to start here are my very first Mirage comics. Given to me by my uncle for christmas one year, this is the first time I ever saw the Mirage books other than in the Behind the scenes vhs for Secret of the Ooze. I had no idea there was a violent side to the turtles. Nothin better then getting this set and seeing Leo hack Shredders head off when you're like 7 years old.

In the process of taking more pictures. I will post them in a bit

I'm really digging your collection, and the cosplay looked amazing

In your second group photo, to the left of the Jeep, there's what I assume to be a rather bulky-looking Raphael figure. What is he, if I can ask? I've never seen one like that before.

Thank you for the complimemts and to answer your question, that is a 1995 Jim Lee Raphael. There was a short line of figures designed by the famous comic artist Jim Lee, they were overly muscular and somewhat cyborg like

Here's some more pictures. I still have quite a bit left to take photos of but here's the first bit for today.

the autograph from Cam Clarke that I said I needed to reframe, the note that is now in the front was attached to the back which was bugging me. I didn't want to cover the picture before but I think it actually looks better now. the note was from when I had mailed him a drawing. He then sent the note along with the autograph. I felt bad not displaying the note since it's in my opinion technically another autograph.

My Nickelodeon store display sign. I got this from wal-mart when the toy line first launched. The manager said they didn't fet much in and didn't think that the toys would sell so he gave me it.

Pizza Hut Box and Funko papercrafts

Turtle Van with Splinter and Shredder from the Funko papercrafts, Nick original Mutagen, and a small figure diorama I made. Sorry about the flash.

Another shelf. Home to my Neca box set, April and my custom Utrom. Also my new movie Crush bottles. I got all of the 2 liters except Raph and only Leo cans. Also note the small Pizza Hut standee. I havr an advertisment page with the same design so when I redo my room I plan to hang the pizza box and advertisment over the standee.

This stuff is kind of in the mix of some other collectibles due to space on the shelf. I plan to move this all around eventually. Also need to get the Don beanie ball still.

I will be posting more soon just gotta take more photos

More pictures.

Some of my books

A non-tmnt book that has an interview with Kevin Eastman and has a few Mirage Turtle drawings in it. I've had this since I was a kid when I decided I actually wanted to be an artist.

Various advertisments. I plan to frame these and hang them when I get a bigger space.

Pages from Lego Magazines that my brother tore out and gave me. The little cowabunga picture is just there to cover his address.

A 2007 computer game, I think these came with some of the toys or in cereal boxes. I can't remember though.

And I think I'm going to call it good for the day, I got a lot more to post but I have a few projects I need to work on

Not a problem, just being honest

Ah! I see. I've not seen many of those, but I just put a bid on a 3-pack on eBay and hopefully I win. I really like how they look. I think they're beautiful sculpts now that I've looked into it and seen them. Definitely something I want to add to my collection. Thanks for educating me.
