the Bebop is pretty badass. rocksteady looks pretty much like the playmates toy. and krang just looks awful

Absolutely no surprises here. This is the movie they set out to make the millisecond Peter Laird let go of the reins.

I'm sure the Mr. Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang, and Dimension X and all that other horrible stuff will make it into movie #2/6. Don't you worry.

AFAIK? He'd been doing it for 25 years and his interest was waning. Running the franchise as a business, even though he wasn't doing it alone, had to have been pretty draining, too - it's what kept him and Kevin from continuing to make the comic together on a regular basis during the busier period of "Turtlemania" (and ultimately ever again) and I get the feeling that the wider business demands wore them both down a lot. Easy to forget now that Kevin is pretty involved in the property across the board, but for over ten years, Kevin was gone and Peter was still at it. Creative types tend to get pretty bored just doing one thing, too, even if they love it. So in his shoes, at that time, I think $60 million would be hard to turn down.

These looks much better then the final product, better designed shells, less 'roid monsters and less cluster.

Hell I want a whole TMNT art book in that style.

Even with as long as it took me to get used to a new design in the first place... These images... they look grimy and battle worn and yet at the same time there is something so pretty about the artwork. Def my fave concept art so far.

I love seeing these! Honestly though, I think the designs they landed up using are still the best.. for the turtles anyways. (just de-buff 'em a little bit!)

Some of those Shredders and Splinters look amazing. If Bebop and Rocksteady land up looking like that I'll be so happy.

Nope they won't $50 says the Kraang ends up being a gigantic godzilla sized tentacle monster and bebop is a mutated rhinoceros...beatle. While rocksteady is a cyborg pig with eye lasers.

You have got to be fraking kidding me. We could have had these turtles on screen instead of the ones we got stuck with. Granted, these aren't great turtles designs but they are far and away better versions of the designs that ended up in the movie. What the sh!t?!

Those ARE the designs they chose. They just pumped them full of Synthehol

2014 version sucked, and the Fred wolf inspired versions are only marginally better.

If only they could find artists that understand design, not collage artists who know zbrush and photoshop.

Shredders voice was the only redeeming aspect of the entire film. That's pitiful.
