really enjoyable episode, and all the characters were done great.

Leo- sure he was forced to go down first but once he found the ship, he willingly led the way. still leading even while injured. starting to love seths voice. gets across some empathy, fits.

donnie- checking the facts as always. didnt seem overly love struck despite aprils kiss, which is good..

raph- a decent raph episode, one of the last to be caught by that thing, good fighting scenes, typical raph attitude

mikey- knew something was off and was right, him and ick were great

casey- started off obnoxious, but the scene where he shocked the thign shows hes not useless, even if it didnt work, and nice scene at the end

april- great for her, stuck between her friends and her mom, seems her powers only really affect the kraang

I can't wait for this episode to air in Canada! We've already seen the Season 2 finale last week, and hopefully will get to see the Season 3 premiere tomorrow!

I loved the episode and loved the reference to John carpenter's The Thing.

I am glad April was the one to defeat her "mom".

I liked that Mikey was the one that knew something was off about April's mother.

I liked the back story stuff for April and her family.

I thought the episode was amazing. My favorite of season 3 so far, although that's not saying much as there have only been 3 episodes.
Seth Green is getting better and better. Mikey was awesome this episode - awesome, adorable scene with ICK.
The second half was so creepy! I love when this show is dark.
The humor was awesome. Every joke hit its mark for me.
I felt super sorry for April this episode.
My only complaint: Mrs. O'Neil's voice. It bothered me the whole episode. Seeing as Renae Jacobs hasn't had any voice acting jobs since 1996, I think she may have lost some of her skill. Or it just might have felt off because the mother was supposed to seem weird. Perhaps that's why the voice was so stiff and sort of emotionless.
I don't know what people are talking about when saying this show has jumped the shark. I actually think it's getting better. I love season 1 - pretty much all the episodes are great - but while season 2 had a couple misses I thought it's good episodes were better than even season 1's greats (of course, I can't remember all the episodes, so I may regret writing that later). And so far this season, Within the Woods was amazing except for what happened with Raph, A Foot too Big had some good parts and a lot of wasted potential, and this episode was perfectly creepy and funny, with a lot of emotion.

Good episode. I feel like this should have come before the last one, though. Donnie was still trying to impress April and like...if it IS in the correct order, they waited an awfully long time to clean that house.

This episode was okay for me.

-Mikey being the one to know something was up with April's mom was nice....but just straight up attacking her was kinda stupid.

-Casey started off jerky...but he was really sweet while trying to comfort April.

-I'm used to Seth Green now.

-yay! April/Raph/Casey teamup! that's new!!! XD no Donnie!?

-why....does NO ONE EVER LISTEN TO MIKEY!!!!?? I know they were trying to make April happy, but come on! Trying to make it sound like he's been wrong before in off screen scenes is dumb! They only did this so they can try and justify their doubt in him.

-also.....Apri's mind powers are a Dues Ex Machina. How bout she try defeat something without them. Otherwise I'm not gonna be screaming "you go girl!!" when she doesn't even have to work for it.

It repetitious to see it over and over again. Have either April or Casey destroy it with the electric outlet, this episode would have been a 10 /10 with the exception of the usual capritello piss off.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was dark and insanely creepy. It gave me vibes of one of the more darker episodes of the 2003 series. Hearing April's mother's voice, that's definitely Renae Jacobs. I liked how Mike was able to notice that something was off about her. Too bad it was another one of those cases where he acted before thinking and his brothers not believing him again. And once again, his brothers didn't acknowledge that he was right all along. *Sigh*...just when you think they take one step forward with him, they take one step back.

Did you think when they showed her dad driving away that the van looked like the original Party Wagon? Also there was a part in the flashback that looked like Kraang's body from the OT. From what I understand, Mike Myers was only supposed to be in the first two movies, and then every "Halloween" movie after it would tell a different horror story. But because Halloween 3 didn't do so well and people whined about no Mike Myers we were given five god awful Halloween movies with Michael Myers after Halloween 3.

There are some things that felt off about the fake Mom's story. Why would the family, generation after generation, continue live in the same farm of where they keep geting abducted? That as stupid moving into a house that had a murder while the ax killer is still on the loose.

Meh, get over the conceit, I guess.

Anyway, seems like Mikey will continue to suffer the Cassandra curse. Oh well, but I'm willing to take plot amnesia over shipping. Lesser of two evils, I suppose.
