What about Mondo Gecko, Isn't he and Mikey buddies too?

That's been their only exchange thus far, so I wouldn't say so. Seems to suggest it may happen, though.

Definitely need Man Ray and Wingnut/Screwloose at the very least to join.

Would also love to see Napoleon Bonafrog and Merdude if possible.

Well, IDW already have demons, Null would be just one more demon.

I don't think its really accurate to refer to Kitsune, Rat King, and Chi You as demons. They seem to be more akin to deities who were once worshiped in various parts of the world and have since fallen out of cultural memory, becoming the stuff of legend and myth. That's why although I'm intrigued by IDW's inclusion of Null in their universe, I don't think it'd make since for him to be a member of this mystical family, at least based on his backstory from Archie; IDW could change it to fit him in as part of their growing pantheon. It seems like Kitsune represents Japan (obviously), Rat King represents part of Europe, and Chi You represents China. I'm excited to see if North America, South America, and Africa get their own players in the game. You'd think we'd see the North American deity pretty soon, seeing as how Kitsune and Rat King have been stepped into his/her turf

And really I guess deity/demon is a question of perspective

If he ever shows up, I'm hoping said North American deity is this guy

They can dig up interesting lore for Null too, like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baphomet
Templar Knights... They can basically explain with that how he became some megacorp executive, and make it into some huge conspiracy, reaching back to 14th century.

Well, about the demon thing, I though about the demons Shredder met at the other world while he was dead (or in stasis).
Krang was also the Iron Demon, but that was a different thing.

Demons/devils are just figures from Judeo-Christian-Islamic mythology, no different from figures in any other set of legends. There's no reason to put one group's myths on a pedestal like they're somehow different from the rest of humanity's. To those of us who aren't Yahweh worshippers stuff like angels, demons and hell exist in the same frame as kitsunes, the pied piper, the Greek gods, etc. It's all fair game.

Really if you wanted to go that route it would make sense if Null used to rule in the Middle East where he inspired legends of Lucifer and then moved to North America after colonization.

Very true. I think that would work in the context of the comic. I've never read any of the Archie comics so my only knowledge of Null is what I've read on Turtlepedia. In any case, the Turtles' world is about to get a whole lot more supernatural in the years to come

Damn, Quetzalcoatl, that would totally awesome!

To be honest, I hope they won't limit these creatures to continents, cuz one day I'd like to see Warrior Dragon/Hothead too, and I think he was Chinese.

Btw, it's funny how Krang inspired the legend of the Kraken.

IDW has not said, but I am willing to bet following trend,TMNT will have a series of one-shots or a 4 issue mini-series alongside the ongoing. That being noted I believe as we approach Thanksgiving we could see a solicit for a first issue of a 4 issue mini-series. The Ghostbusters crossover ends in January so the TMNT mini-series slot is open. I doubt the image would have come out too far ahead of some actual project. Hope my educated guess based on IDW trends is correct. I just wish that Pete's slot could be taken up by Ace Duck.

Yeah, if I had my guess we'll probably get a miniseries taking place after Attack on Technodrome, either concurrent with or taking place before the next arc, and that's how they'll set up Null for the post-#50 stories. I wouldn't hold my breath for a full ongoing series yet.

I'd also give about 1:2 odds we'll get Andy Kuhn on art, which... meh. Just a guess.

I'd guess Kuhn is a given for the mini-series

Awesome, yet it's a bit perplexing that Mondo and Slash are the only ones from the Archie line-up.

Well, they never called them Mutanimals, and I don't think they will, they're a completely different team.
