I like how the baddies were surprisingly, not mutants! That's unique, for a filler episode.

That was pretty neat. We still need human villains in my opinion.

I dunno, not so sure about Dave being good. It looked all nice and fun but he was wearing Mikey out and told him he was draining his life force, or whatever they called it. I think Dave was as bad as the rest, but in a really twisted sort of way.

The rest might be scary and try to terrify their victims... Dave is prob the one that will seem all friendly and fun and give you candy that's completely poisoned and giggle while he watches you die from it.

Oh, and my tv listings don't show a repeat for tomorrow, some other damn show's repeats are on instead. Wtf. Was it too scary for daytime airings?

Edit: In Raph's dream, was Mikey on the drums? Anyone seen a gif for that?

I saw a bass guitar & a drummer in that sequence! Could've been worse, they could've had TMNT playing as a band again, Everyone would groan & I would say COOL!
Actually it did have the Turtles playing in the death metal band in Raph's dream. Donnie and Leo were shredding on the guitars and Mikey was on the drumbs.

Good eye!

Wish I'd caught the repeat on the other channel last night and gotten a second look at everything going on, since it doesn't seem to be repeating tomorrow...or anywhere in my listings. >.>

it was a pretty good ep though certainly not 1 of my favorites of the version, nearly burst out laughing when the beavers popped up in the room while the rest were standing there..... despite their nature, so freaking cute!!! typically im not 1 that buys much stuff relating to a show other than the ep sets but i would SOOOO get the plushies of them if they are made

bernie on the other hand, he has some serious mental issues, i mean yeah, he was trying to do what he thought was beneficial for the world but the lack of sleep seriously got to his head

the best part was when they showed up in that comic world

also nice to see more touching up regarding leos healing, felt bad for him when i saw his knee dislocate, ive had my knees dislocated before multiple times and its really painful at 1st

Here's the rest of the interesting stuff from the grocery store. Though nothing really sticks out to me. I did like the psych-o's cereal though.

Storylines aside, the folks behind the visuals never cease to amaze me with the amount of effort and talent they put in. Would be a dream job to be in there doing what they are.

That said, I assume Split magazine is their version of Mad? Looks like a similar font and set up of other elements happening there.

I don't know if this was mentioned but this was brought up in a FB group. They're based off these villains called the Terror Bears from the RPG? http://turtlepedia.wikia.com/wiki/Terror_Bears

Not a bad episode at all. Loved John Kassir and Englund's performances. I was rather glad they didn't do a rehashing of Fungus Humungous delving into the turtles' fears again. However, it would have been interesting to at least get a couple honorable mentions of NYC. Heck, even a couple Kraang mutants walking around in Donnie's dream would have been nice. I was hoping to see Shredder for at least a minute or so since the beavers are able to mess with the boys' heads. Ah well. Guess they're saving this for the vision quest episode. Fine by me. But the action scenes were terrific, and I had a blast watching this episode overall. Now I want a pet Dave. I love that guy.

Yeah, Dave has to be my favorite Beaver, too. Also am sad that the episode won't be on repeat tomorrow. I was really looking forward to that to see if they'd have a preview for next week's ep. Such a shame.

Because some other show I don't care about is airing at that time. I think it's The Thundermans or whatever. So stupid. Maybe it's because of the nature of the episode or maybe it's because they just don't want to.

I see Time Magazine (Timely) something from DC comics (hard to tell with the blur what it might be) some magazine on the upper row mentioning Chris Bradford (can't tell what it says in the smaller font, as it's too blurry) and another comic book with the titles 'Killer Koalas.'

Yeah, Thundermans...which itself says is a repeat. The hell?

Only thing I can figure is maybe it was "too scary" for weekend daytime hours, but they've repeated the other horror ones at that time? If they can put something else in TMNT's time slot, at the very least they could do the same and bump their repeat to a later hour...

Edit: See now, this bugs me... What's listed as being on Sunday night 8pm? (At least for my listings.) Full House. Two hours of it. The Turtles can be bumped from their repeat slot, but heaven forbid a show from the 80s that's been replayed a million times not lose a half hour.

Wow that episode was pretty bad. I sometimes like one offs but that one was just too ridiculous, not to mention like really scary. They put such effort into awesome animation and visual effects, but not to plot or character.
