This place has its share of "annoying" and even plain ol' "stupid", but I think what this cesspool has been missing for a while is just plain Batsh*t Crazy. If for no other reason than it tends to unite the regular members against a common enemy.

The most compelling evidence that all was genuine is that the Russians never complained, never stated they didn't believe the Americans got to the moon during the 60s or 70s. If they believed, and I'm sure they would have done their research and checking otherwise, then who shouldn't?

I read somewhere that better than 50% of modern Russians don't believe the U.S. went to the moon.

At some point Occam's razor has to come into play with these conspiracy theory guys. If your "truth" requires a lot of mental gymnastics and worlds of different groups all working together to make your stance correct, it might be time to step back and look at the most simple solution.
