I highly doubt R&B is going to look like that in the new movie, since none of the characters in the first one looks like Tsvetomir Georgiev's designs (his second Splinter looks the closest with similar clothes and a topknot)

I think the characters in the first movie was great. the designs of Splinter, the turtles, the foot clan looked awesome and shredder looked the best. shredder's armor kinda looked like the 2003 cartoon shredder. so Bebop and Rocksteady should look great in tmnt 2 2016.

Good for you that you liked them, but that's not what I meant.

There's no guarantee that Rocksteady and Bebop will look like Georgiev's concept art (picture you posted) since the majority of his work was not used for the final designs for the creature CGI.

So, they could literally do anything at all and you'd be happy with it? Interesting. That's interesting.

I... guess that if the first one worked for someone then the second one will be... "just as good", if not... uh... "more so"...................

I've had quite enjoyable conversations with folks here. Folks who don't have sticks up their asses every time somebody insults something they like that is bad.

Also, not that you'd notice or care because it doesn't fit your victim complex narrative, I'm quite super positive on the cartoon over in the cartoon board.

No, I've noticed it too. I don't have a "stick up my ass" about the movie (liked it, but admit it had flaws), but seriously, can't you say something besides snarky, sarcastic comments directed at not just the movie, but the people who liked it, TOO?! It really IS getting old, boring, and petty.

If you're so positive about the cartoon, and don't like the new movie (WE GET IT ALREADY!!!) why keep coming in here to repeat the same trite snide remarks ad nauseum?

Little worried about the concept of the Turtles supposedly having to lean extra human-looking this time around for reasons of speaking and emoting. Either they're going to have to backtrack on those claims or design some pretty funky looking warthog and rhino snouts. Maybe they just won't have a lot of dialogue?

Won't be surprised if they're pretty grotesque though.
Spoiler:

10 Turtle dollars bet it's bad enough that these 2014 Turtles look almost adorable in comparison.

Let's hope whatever tweaks they make are subtle ones, or just remove some of the excess gear. I'd really like to see the same models, but return them to their classic gear.

I AM super curious to see how R&B turn out!

Again?! Can I just start calling you Victrolla? You're starting to sound a bit like a broken record, dude.

I get it, but I'm not a fan of censorship. True things don't stop being true just because they're repeated or make some people uncomfortable.

Basically, nobody can "legally" tell anyone to shut up for saying they did or didn't like it. Anyone from either side can technically make their point as many times as they wish. As irritating as some people on either side may find it.

Basically, if it were up to me, you could just walk up to anyone who says, "I like Nicki Minaj" and shoot them in the face, just for saying that even Once. But it's not up to me. People need to be allowed to talk.

He's not calling anyone names or personally attacking anyone for liking it. Thus, it's just, "Your extreme dislike is annoying, as is your reinstatement of said opinion." Well, that's still not illegal.

Wasn't telling anyone to shut up, just saying we're all tired of hearing the same sarcastic and unproductive comments, and would like a change of pace. Basically, what you said about it being really annoying. I'm ALL for reasonable discussions, as you know, but some people just seem to want to rain on everyone else parade continuously, while not really adding anything of value to the discussion at hand. It's tiresome, and pointless.

And I've had some really interesting and lively debates over this same movie- but the point is that I was willing to at least give the other side their say without belittling them, or their opinions. And at the end of the day that's all any of this is- OPINIONS. And ALL are valid, but some folks think theirs are superior, and that anyone with an alternate POV should be mocked. And it's ridiculous. I may disagree with others here about some things- the movie being one- but I'd NEVER stoop to treating them as inferiors for an OPINION.

You know they won't use those designs dude!

They MUST **** them up. it's the Bay prime directive. Bay thinks by adding in more deatil, things in CG look more realistic. The other designs will be more like what we will get...

Alternatively, there is a user on this board who does have some say in the designs. Maybe we could plead with him to listen to the fans?

There has been some pretty atrocious concept art for the Turtles, but everything related to Bebop and Rocksteady has been passable at the very least. And the majority of it has been awesome.

I expect to have problems with the movie, but I don't think the visualizations will be one of them. I loved how everyone (Turtles, Splinter, April, Shredder, and Karai) looked. Well, except for the Foot Soldiers... but that's because PD decided "paramilitary" instead of "assassins".

Yeah, I liked the turtles in the last one, too. Shredder and Splinter, not so much in design (though I LOVED Splinter's tail!) but I was fine with the voice for Splinter- though my hubby can't seem to stop calling him "Splinter-Monk"....

They're already planning to film in April? Hmm, so... is there a script somewhere that somebody can access and tell us about?

Well whatever, I didn't care enough to see the first movie so...

Didn't they already give us a Super-Shredder last time? How many more knives you want on the guy?

I have zero problems with someone who can have an argument, and still be civil afterwards. I respect your view, even though I don't agree. I've been waiting for the spirit walk episode on Nick now that I know you've a good understanding of those ideas. As an abstract, it's interesting, and it'll be fun to hear your take.
