That episode was Turtles Perfection I loved the new Intro The episode was great all around. I loved seeing them build the Party Wagon unlike a certain movie that just didn't bother"2014 turtles". It looks like next week's is the Bebop and Rocksteady episode.

It was okay. There was a lot that could be torn apart in a screenwriting class.

Everything happened to occur on the day the Turtles headed back. In the real world that's called coincidence. Here, it's called lazy writing.

Another illegal vehicle by New York law. In real life, that thing would get pulled over and impounded in about 20 minutes. The world doesn't just shut down when bad things happen. We have plenty to remind us that.
Asking where everybody in New York is, something we've asked since the first episode.
Why didn't the first MOUSERS call for reinforcements? In a taser fight, numbers win every time.
The Shredder clones really needed an explanation, because otherwise they're just a hollow excuse to show that time has passed. Baxter's plan? Shredder's wardrobe? Why not just clone Karai and kill the old mutant then? Sure, she'll still be a snake woman, but at least she'll be your snake woman from birth.

And who took the picture of Shredder and Karai? It's cute, but there's no way Shredder is into the Instagram game. And we know you love your daughter so much that you locked her up and dangled her over mutagen. Love you too, Dad.

But whatever, screenshots.

And for the codebreakers, B&R's license plate:

Because this really matters.

This I can agree with, but there's no other way for the show to handle an entire city in ruins without the rest of the world budding in.

You know why this is.

The Shredder mutants might have been planned to use against the Kraang.

Was the Shredder clones a throwback to the Mirage comics or the 2K3 cartoon?

Will have to catch this again to take in all the details more. Was Shredder even aware that Baxter tried to clone him? On one hand I could see him having enough ego to think the more there is of him the better; on the other hand I can't see him wanting the threat to his position and uniqueness if a clone had ideas other than taking orders.

Leatherhead is also in the new opening. So its a hint that he's alive.

1) Looks like Shredder anticipated the possibility that Splinter survived their battle by sending Foot-Bots into the sewers. 2) Creating a new lab is probably Stockman-Fly's way of coping with the loss of his old one. Why has nobody mentioned the fact that he was talking about creating his own retromutagen? 3) I think those Shredder clones originated from the 2003 series.

Speaking of the 2003 series, I'm still waiting for Agent Bishop to show up.

Haha, the Shredder clones! Nice touch that they're shellfish mutants this time around, certainly explains the anatomical oddities better than worms.

Although like with the 4Kids version of them, it's pretty bizarre they even exist. Yeah it was probably weirder that an Utrom decided to make humanoid things in replica armor, but they don't seem to serve much purpose here either and I wonder why Shredder would even allow these things to be made. At least the comic explained it, they were failed resurrection attempts, in both animated instances they're just there because it's iconic...

They originated from the Mirage books in the Return to New York arc

I'm surprised that they killed the Mutated Clones off by having Splinter push them into the fan and hear them getting chopped up.

So is this the first confirmed deaths in the most dark way in a kids show.

I loved this episode!

I don't know why if its because we haven't really seen Leo in a real ~Leader mode~ for a while, but he seems different. Def more mature. Maybe it's just the voice

Seeing Master Splinter all crazy was weird.....was not expecting that. Wonder what happened...Did Karai just save him from drowning then split...hmmmm

Also question, there was a point in the episode where they were in the lair, and Leo tells Mikey to stay with April and Casey while him and the others go explore the lair....does anyone wonder why?

cannot wait to rematch this in a few days.

I expect they didn't want Mikey wandering off to his room as they knew it would be probably dangerous and they were right with that Kraang Security thing.

That episode was AMAZING! It was pretty much everything that I was expecting from the Return to New York. I absolutely loved the Shredder clones. While I haven't read the Mirage comic they are introduced in, I instantly recognized them because I'm currently watching the 2k3 for the first time (it was on before I was a fan).
Just an all-around great episode. It shocked me to see that Splinter had gone insane. That was something I never saw coming.
I wonder if Stockman will succeed with his retromutagen, or will it cause more problems?
Also the new intro = A++, but I'm still really going to miss the old one. This show has come so far and it needed to change the intro to fit that. And my jaw dropped when I saw it.
While I liked the new intro, it reminded me of how the OT got a new one in season 4 or so (and I hated that one).
I'll give this episode a 9.5/10. I knew this show would bounce back to its original quality, though I did like a majority of Northampton.

How would Zog even fit? Don't you kind of need to do the Fugitoid story first? Oh I would love to see an alien world that is not just some lovecraftian weirdness in this show, it does not really have to be D'hoonnib.

Karai is still shown as a villain, I guess they'll alter that part soon enough to fit Bebop, Rocksteady and Hun. Or maybe Karai goes back to being a villain, who knows?

Probably, obviously the Turtles can't do any of the stuff they did to him in the comics to defeat him, so having the other villains do it would be a nice subsitute.

How do think Mikey will will name them? Will they end up in some hipster record store and take the names from random signs?

Enjoyed the episode a lot. I love these episodes where there's barely any downtime, just tons of stuff happening.

I can't wait for Mondo Gecko, Ciro's concept art for him was perfect.
