Ditto. I love how Mikey can tame wild beasts.

Bebop dude was pretty annoying though....so was the Russian guy....

Good episode, not as cool as the last one, but still good.

Was the bit with Michelangelo eating the snake skin thinking it was chips necessary? That was too Mikey 2003 for me.

I did like a few lines in there especially the '87 reference.

Nice plot pitting the three groups together however why did Zeck and Sternako get out right after their previous episode? They had time to get out. Plot hole.

The voices for this different version of Bebop and Rocksteady fit well with their pre-mutation but do you think it will work with their mutant forms? Also, what role will they have now if there are already four mutants in the ranks?

I LOVED this episode!

Zeck and Sterenko are hilarious together. They have great chemistry, I love their banter and that they seem quite equal to one another, while having very different fighting styles. I love Sterenko having cool weapons (makes sense, since he's an arms dealer and Rocksteady has always had a very ammunition-heavy look in addition to being physically huge) and I love Zeck's dancing quickness (though a little heavy on the Michael Jackson homage, lol!) They are funny (Zeck didn't annoy me), and were formidable foes to the turtles even before mutating, so I imagine they're going to be even more deadly as Bebop and Rocksteady.
I noticed Strenko mention having a brother... I wonder if he's ever going to turn up? Also, every time Zeck called Sterenko "Big S" I heard "Big Ass", which makes me laugh. Because I am immature. I loved the return of spy cockroach, and that Donnie nonchalantly mentioned that Sterenko ate most of them, haha!
The dock fight was super awesome, and I think the writers treated Fishface better in this episode than they have for awhile. I think there's so much potential for conflict between Shredder's many mutated henchmen. Like others have mentioned, I'd love to see one or more of Shredder's henchmen turn mutinous - either Tiger Claw (who seems to have voiced doubt about Shredder's alliance with the Kraang) or Xever.
I also think they treated Mikey better in this episode than they have for a little while: he was a total badass in the fights (getting a few good hits on Shredder and calling the other guys slow), was using his awesome communication skills to talk down Karai, and yet still had his childlike drawings and excitement over the T.V. Nicely done!
I felt really sad for Karai. When she transformed back and said, "Help me..." ugh, my heart broke for her.
Leonardo was awesome here, in every way. Glad there was no return of the bum knee.
B&R's mutation scene was pretty brutal. I am really looking forward to seeing more of them. Even though I am an 80's turtles fan, I wasn't one who was super jazzed about their return... but NOW, I am really excited about them! I am feeling a strong need to draw some B&R fan art.

What's this I hear about a hiatus? Noooooo!!!!

Another thought I had was that maybe, possibly, Leo is sort of overtaking Splinter for the first time. Splinter is damaged(mentally and spiritually) by what has happened and is now recovering from his ordeal while the turtles are all in the best shape ever.

I just felt like Leo is in charge now and will be running things while Splinter recovers his psyche. I just hope that every now and then we can see that playful teen that is still inside Leo and not always just a serious side, which is Leo's personality.

Remember when he'd sit all wide eye watching Space Heroes? He seems a million miles from that now. His character may be the only one fulling growing and changing as the episodes go on.

This. I love how this show is handling Leo, so far it's probably my favorite incarnation of him. I wish the other turtles would show a little more development too...

During early season 3, when I saw gifs of Leo talking (when there's subtitle but no sound) I would unconsciously form the "voice" in Jason Biggs' version. It just wouldn't get out of my head.

Or so I thought

Now, I totally "hear" Seth Green's

Leo's definitely grown up a lot!

Great episode.

To me it seems every karai episode is one of my favorites.

The fight between the turtles and steranko and zeck was great, but then them all vs shredder fishface and Rahzar was epic. Leo's intro was incredible, and his one on one with shredder was cool, seeing as how 10 episodes ago he got his butt kicked in that same matchup. Donnie also had some sweet attacks.

Not a fan of mutated karai, but like how shredders still fighting for her. It's hard to tell if he actually cares. He went from yelling how he cared for her, to calling her his.

Those mutations were dark. And seeing fishface and razhars reactions solidified that

Ha I was just rewatching it and noticed how Karai uses her back-on-the-head mouth to bite off a Krang's arm. That's so awesome.

Season 3 is looking great.

Heh, had a look at the credits again and...
"Zeck/Bebop"
"Steranko/Rocksteady"
Have to say, I loved that little detail.

Wanted to applaud that final scene. Actually felt BAD for them. Love how this show occasionally has a real mean streak. And now I'm somehow onboard with Zeke/Bebop's design, which I really, really opposed to before. This show has a knack for delivering designs I hate (including the Turtles themselves) and making them work through personality. I assume they'll help to take down the Turtles with the faux promise that they'll be turned human again. Looking forward to how they somehow get the names "Bebop" and "Rocksteady". Couldn't care less about the never-ending struggle over Karai but as a Z & S transition into B & R episode, they nailed it.

I'm still wondering what happened to Steranko's suit.

I know they want the tank top and camo look... but he's running around in his underwear now. The only reason they didn't ditch the suit pre-mutation was so they could keep the pauldrons that somehow mutated an extra spike.

Pauldrons...and underwear.

I'd also like to thank Con Edison for keeping the electricity on this long, even though they haven't received any payment for utilities in months and they serve an area that extends beyond New York City.

I wish I could get away with this much magic in my work.

Cool

I like this episode. Lots of good fighting action. The family is reunited again in the new lair, I like Raph's statement about the 87 reference. Leo was great trying to helping Karai.

Cool

Good episode with lot of action fights. Leo this time is in charge of the group trying to find Karai and when find her, Mikey was really nice in the way he was treating her. Very compassionate towards Karai. And this an important part of Mikey's personality and Leo was telling her if she remember them. She did and then she ask Leo to help her. Poor Karai! I really like Raph phrase about the year 1987.

The Russian Staranko and Zeck mutated to become Bebop and Rocksteady. I wonder if Bebob will call the boys the "toitles" like he did in the original series.

I want more character development on Leo's siblings, too.

We still don't know who will "name" them, and if Shredder will start calling them B&R or still Anton/Ivan.

I caught something though, when Steranko was aiming his tranquilizer gun at Karai, he said "steady... steady..."

It would've been heavy foreshadowing (if we hadn't already know he was going to be Rocksteady)

And they got Zeck to act so MJ-like so he could inevitably earn his mutant name?

If memory serves, I think it was mentioned in an interview that Mikey would name the two.
