The best actor to play Casey Jones in sequel?

Personally I... don't see why we couldn't have Corey Feldman as Casey. An older, jacked-out, worn-down Casey. We've got enough people drooling over Fox O'Neil in this incarnation as it is - Feldman is still young enough to believably beat someone up with a baseball bat, but old enough that it could give us a break from the leg-humping.

Plus it would be a nice nod to past incarnations - for my part, it'd certainly engender some goodwill and it's something that might actually get me to watch the second one.

Compared to the Hulk Turtles, anyone they'd cast as Casey would look 4 feet tall.

This series is already ridiculous as all get-out; I mean, they were going to have 600 year old Sachs as Robo-Shredder. Give the role to Feldman, I say - the poor guy could use the paycheck.

I think it's pretty obvious that these folks could give a **** about paying any sort of homage to what's come before.

Case will be played by the very last person on earth you'd want to play him.
Might as well come up with worst case scenarios instead, just to steel ourselves against the inevitable.

Given the new trend of gender swapping leads, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Casey Jones were played by a woman. I'd be even less surprised if Megan Fox's April became Casey Jones.

A female Casey Jones would have been kinda cool. But gender swapping roles isn't a very new trend since it's often done in horror adaptations.

Casey could be female, male, black/white/latino/asian or alien. It makes no difference to me at this point what they do.

Like I said, I can't begin to care when Shrek Hulks are involved, and the story is pure trash.

Eh, I'm down with a female Casey, male Casey, black Casey, hispanic Casey - as long as it's done well, it really doesn't phase me. But that's the crux of the matter - this movie hasn't executed change well and as such, I don't want to see Fox as Casey any more than I want to see her as April.

I disagree. I want to see a casey like in the IDW comics. They could just recast April.they did that in the original Movie series and no body cared.

There are a few drawings on Dev art where the turtles were depicted as females, and to be honest, they're really well done. And that's the crux, it needs to be well done.

I do feel though that, before a film series goes of into variations of the source, it should at least get the source right first (1990 doesn't count). Movies have a tendency to become the official cannon in the general populations mind. Sometimes it even happens in telivision, as evidenced by the OT, for better or worse.

While Elias Koteas was fun, he wasn't really the Casey of the comics. I'd like to see that character, unaltered, on screen at least once.

Of course, again, considering how off kilter everything else is, it would almost be a waste.

Deep down, I'm dreading the worst - Vern becomes Casey. If that happens I might sue PD for emotional distress.

Ah yes, if you're referring to Chochi's art on dA then yes - his art is lovely. He's done a really nice Rule 63 version of Casey Jones as well, plus a Lady Shredder, Rat Queen etc.

LOL it certainly would be interesting to see a class action lawsuit launched against PD. I imagine it'd be something like The People vs George Lucas, yes?
