It really shouldn't. It's kind of a realistic thing many would possibly face instead of continuing to live like a random mass of organs floating in a jar of goo.

Mutagen Man is the most tragic TMNT character ever and only a serious comic could have gone with this kind of serious approach.

I really like Khun's style of drawing humans, its really good stuff. His mutants were good too, even though I wasnt to fond of his Slash and Mondo, but his Muatagen Man design was great! Cant wait to see more of his Mutagen Man.

Me too. Having them interact at some point would be great but I'd rather have Angel and Alopex (with Harold) crime busting on their own. Bonus points if Casey and Raph team up as well.

I'm not sure Hob is the one to engineer the healthiest response in Mutagen Man. Slash might be a better person to talk to. But the issue doesn't 'embrace' suicide, MM's desire is rejected, quite the opposite.

Yeah he does a pretty decent job, although I'm not very fond of how he draws the turtles themselves, thankfully that's not going to be a problem with this mini (I think).

Now that we know that Null group has been heavily involved in work with mutagen and Lindsay being pushed into the middle of the conflict, I have a suspicion that we might see another long awaited mutant by the end of the series.

I really hope not. While introducing characters and mutating them later is sort of Nick thing, IDW hasn't really done much of that. Bebop & Rocksteady being an exception since it keeps their origin intact.

I've joked about Lindsey being mutated (even into Mona Lisa) for awhile, because the circumstances seemed to be prime for her to have an accident. She wouldn't have to be Mona Lisa of course. Her personality seems to be quite different from the Mona Lisa of the cartoon anyway (all one episode of her...). I don't mean just that she probably wouldn't be interested in Raph. Mona Lisa was bubbly and fun loving and already idolized the Turtles, Lindsey is a bit cynical, fairly self interested and highly ambitious. Whose side she ends up on at the end of this series is a decent question. I had assumed she'd just bolt to Null but now I'm starting to suspect not. It's important, obviously, because Hob can't make more mutants without her (unless Mutagen Man can).

Not opposed to her becoming a mutant per se, but I don't know that she needs to become one. She can be the lone human character of the group (you know, the one who can go to the grocery store without attracting attention). If she does side with the Mightly Mutanimals however, her getting mutated could have a symbolic representation of her rejecting Null, but sacrificing her old life for her new family.

Right now, I'd bet against it happening.

I agree that it's unnecessary, though I don't think she'd be 'destroyed' by becoming a mutant (again, I don't think that's happening).

The larger problem is that she really isn't like Mona Lisa at all. I think maybe her hair is sorta kindof like the action figure, maybe. She'd be a totally different salamander mutant girl.

Given how IDW likes to take existing characters, And create new characters based on them, I wouldn't be surprise if that was the case.

Honestly, I don't know why you guys think Lindsey will mutate. At the moment, I don't see it happening.

But hey, if it does, I won't complain. I trust IDW.

I can see the Ninjara thing somewhat... But what does Bludgeon have to do Armaggon other then they both being the same species? ...oh wait, they are not even the same species.

I don't think Lindsey is going to mutate, I think the only reason they went with a human origin for Bebop and Rocksteady is that it might have been easier to foreshadow.
