The ep was aight though Mikey (and to a lesser extent Casey) was just unbearable. Getting really old of his schtick by now. I know the show can't be 100% serious and I guess for whatever reason the show needs at least one comic relief character, but tone it the **** down Mikey. It almost looks like he's purposely going around thinking 'whoops, the plot is getting too serious, better make some gross jokes with cheetos before the kids change channel'.

This ep really showcases the downside of a teenage Casey. He really has to start stepping up his game if he wants to be taken seriously as one of the gang. Despite everything, even the win at the end, he felt more like Zack the 5th Turtles trying too hard to be useful. Zack also used a hockey stick, didn't he?

Bebop/Rocksteady weren't in the 1 hour Kraang episode. Why does it matter they weren't here?

...................that one wasn't about Shredder and his goons though... that was all about the Kraang and Kraang Sub Prime. Why would they be there? Think before you post.

You just asked why they weren't in the previous episode, which was the one before this one. That was the 1-hour episode with the Kraang. That's why I said they weren't in that one.

Oops sorry about that man. I forgot the Kraang thing took place after the Pig and Rhino episode. My bad.

How did the B&R ep end? Would it explain why they wouldn't be in this one? Did Shredder fire them or something?

The official appearance episode with Rocksteady and Bebop began directly after the moment they were mutated. They first try to retaliate but Shredder takes them down and says they can either obey him and live, or they can die at his hands. They agree to obey him...but only until they find a means in which to betray him. He then sends them out to find Karai as they were able to do so before.

The two of them decide decide to attack the Turtles for their interference. Bebop takes out Donnie and April. It's here he discovers the retromutagen, but he doesn't know what it actually was at the time. He also picks up Donnie's t-phone and tells Rocksteady where the others were. Rocksteady attacks Raph and Casey and takes them to Coney Island where Leo and Mikey are looking for Karai. The thugs tell the two turtles that their companions are their prisoners and if they don't surrender they would kill the two humans.

Mikey distracts them by trying to find while Leo tries to break into the van to rescue everyone else. Bebop then pulls out the spray gun he found on Donnie and Mikey blurts out that it was retromutagen. Bebop is about to spray Mikey with it until Rocksteady points out they could use it themselves to return to human.

The two thugs are eventually defeated after an epic battle on a roller coaster. Karai then appears to them and Leo uses the retromutagen on her which supposedly doesn't work on her. Leo is confused as to why it didn't work until Donnie reminds him that her Mutation is different. Karai then tells them that she wanted them to find her so she could say good-bye to all of them and she swims off. Leo vows to find a cure for her.

Just after she says goodbye to the Turtles, she's caught by Bebop and Rocksteady while hunting a mouse. She's brought to Shredder, he vows vengeance and promises her he'll change her back, then the episode ends with Karai hissing at the camera.

I like Bruce Hun Lee, I just hope he doesn't get mutated or anything, especially since he's supposed to be Casey's rival.

Anyone find it weird that Tiger Claw didn't notice or recognize Casey in the Restaurant?

honestly, even though shredder probably never saw casey before in person, it still struck me as odd that he didn't recognize him. I know Tiger Claw faced him before, but hasn't Fishface seen him before too? It feels too late into the game for the main characters to not know each other....
