I know I am playing another vigilante, you will have to trust me that Casey Jones is different than Oliver Queen but filming a feature film is different from filming a television show.

Stephen is excited to be working with Paramount, the studio releasing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and director David Green, who is a big Turtles fan that sold him on the concept.

Stephen will begin shooting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 in Manhattan after attending Calgary Expo and will be filming it during the summer and might be shooting both Arrow and Turtles for a bit.

Basically this version of Casey Jones will be similar to Oliver Queen from the earlier comics.

Is that good or bad, what was he like in the earlier comics. I'm not familar with Arrow from DC comics. I haven't even watched the show but seen the previews though.

I don't know what Green Arrow was like in the earlier comics, But I would assume, he would be less darker maybe?

Either way, I think its good, He did say that Oliver Queen and Casey Jones are very different, So don't expect something exactly similar to Oliver Queen.

Might be "another vigilante," but heck, if it's a kind of role he already knows then all the better maybe. As long as the prior isn't a hang up on portraying a different one.

I really like Arrow, I think it's one of the best shows on TV at the moment. Amell does fine on that show but everything else I've seen him in he's been complete and utter crap, so I wouldn't call him a convincing actor. I don't think this is a terrible casting, it could've been much worse, but they also could've done better with this casting to be honest.

It doesn't matter who they cast as Casey though, I still have no faith in the sequel.

He's perfect for Casey Jones, Because of his physicality. Check out this video of him doing some workout and trainer, He does some parkour stuff.

Not much younger than I am, I envy all that energy he still has in the 30s. lol

Still can't see it. Just comes back as "¾Ü¾ø·ÃÎÊ" but in a larger font.

Watched the most recent episode of Arrow the other night. The first thing I thought of when Amell's character started fighting someone was "Goongala!"

I'll say it. The guy is a really bad actor. Again though, what the **** did we expect.
