Watched the Professor Layton movie.

Really well written story and the song is beautiful

*THGhost* · 04-09-2015, 08:31 PM

The Voices with Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick. Delightfully dark and very funny.

As a result, I cannot get this song out of my head!

Get Hard! damn that was funny as hell

The Babadook and it was dumb. I'm a baby for horror and I heard this is the "scariest movie of all-time" from so many places, but I laughed more than anything.

*Cure* · 04-16-2015, 09:19 PM

Yeah, the thing was silly sounding.

*turtlefanforever* · 04-18-2015, 06:34 PM

Furious 7 was amazing. It was really good as expected like they all are regardless of your opinion on if they should have stopped already. And the ending was the perfect tribute to Paul Walker. Like the cast said in an interview there was no better way to say goodbye to Paul than that ending. Beautiful stuff. i highly recommend it.

and other movies i've seen recently: Blended, non-stop, a million ways to die in the west.

Right?! I just watched that one last night and that boy was a psycho. Screaming in the back seat like that. I don't care if it's the Babadook or not--I'll pop you right in the mouf if you don't shut up. And then he went into a seizure and I'm just like...how you get a 7 year old to do that? Like: "Okay, kid, watch how I do it." *rolls eyes and shakes all crazy then gets up back to normal* "Now do it just as I showed you."

I did like the way they animated the Babadook in that whole...idk 4 1/2 seconds of screen time.

*ProactiveMan* · 04-20-2015, 06:33 PM

I saw The Gunman which was pretty good - some great performances.

~~Leo656~~ · 04-20-2015, 10:11 PM

"Mallrats". Kevin Smith was skinny once, for a fat guy.

*MsMarvelDuckie* · 04-20-2015, 10:46 PM

Original Robocop. Was on yesterday, and I got to watch part of it after I came home from work. I love that movie!

~~Leo656~~ · 04-20-2015, 10:50 PM

HA. I'll buy THAT for a dollar.

*MsMarvelDuckie* · 04-20-2015, 10:59 PM

LOL! I bought it for 5$. Love me that 5$ bin at Wal-Mart. Some great stuff in there sometimes.

*Icebot* · 04-21-2015, 01:06 PM

Forrest Gump.

mexichrist83 · 04-21-2015, 01:24 PM

I saw the director's cut version of "Friday" on the big screen last night. It was a one night only 20th anniversary screening from Fathom Events. I never got to see it in theaters when it was first released in 1995 because I was only 11 at the time so it was pretty cool seeing it in a theater. They also had a cool behind the scenes/retrospective feature after the movie. I'm sure it was a DVD/Bluray feature but still cool to see either way.

*AT-Man* · 04-22-2015, 12:12 PM

Avengers: Age Of Ultron. It's great.

mexichrist83 · 04-24-2015, 12:17 PM

Saw "Ex Machine" last night and it was fantastic. Might go see it again tonight.

*CyberCubed* · 04-25-2015, 12:11 AM

Doing a Star Wars run due to all the new movie hype. Rewatched "A New Hope."

Amazing how a movie made back in 1977 still holds up today. The characters, the dialogue, the story, the universe, the interactions, etc. This one movie spawned an entire empire that's still going over 40 years later.

Its easy to recognize all the tropes in it nowadays though.
