Probably going to read 41 on through the rest of the technodrome arc the day 45 comes out before I read it just so I can have the details fresh in my head and also to build up to it.

I purposely stayed away from any and all things TMNT once I heard #44 had a crazy

first for the entire series in all it's 30 years... a major death. If I am right, I think the Turtles have been battered and beaten pretty hard in the past: Don becoming a robot, Raph loosing an eye, and Splinter dying from a heart attack or something of the like.

but this was completely different.

In the main, I finally received my TMNT books from my shop in Phoenix... 5-6 issues behind plus variants = $70+ (I still have all my other books down there).

How horrific and sad. And to get Bebop and Rocksteady to do it... My favorite Turtle and 2 of the classic villains I enjoyed so much. Unfortunately they have a sour taste in my mouth now... and I had loved that punk-rock Micro Villain issue.

What I'm hoping from this:

Somehow a revival of Donatello, perhaps through the use of that book introduced in Secret History of the Foot Clan and brought back in #42-43. There was a point I thought he might have his conscience moved to Metalhead but I cant see that happening at this time.
Plus, this is something that is going to take time to "fix", if they even plan on fixing it. I cant see them backpeddle on this event in 2 issues...

I'll take a pic of all my covers soon.
I'm also working on Zombie B.C. #2 so that's taken a lot of time. I'm behind on movies and TV shows, no gaming in the last few months either as a result haha.

I like it... but I'm really glad I read the books now. I had so many occasions where this was getting spoiled.

Like a friend posted a video on my Facebook of a panda spinning a stick around and he said "He must have taken lessons from Donatello. Anothr friend commented out of the blue and said "RIP Donatello". I was so livid at my friend who did that... and she had no idea what the problem was. Another friend drew up a tribute image as well, and I saw it for a very brief moment... enough to register what it was and I jumped the page so I wasn't looking at it. Oi lol.

So as someone who knows, finally, whats happened, it's pretty cool. Although I wouldn't own it.
