I saw the first few episodes. Too CW for me.

And I call him Green Arrow because that's the character's name, from the comics that I read/have read. I don't give a flying f*ck what "cool, hip, for the kids" reason the tv show he's in shortened his name for.

You should check out "The Flash". It's a billion times better than Arrow. We're even getting Gorilla Grodd in the next episode.

The little bit I've seen really intrigues me actually. ESPECIALLY how they've done reverse Flash and that they're actually doing Gorilla Grodd, which is super cool and unexpected!

Yeah man, Reverse-Flash is hands down the greatest villain on that show.

And Grodd looks absolutely amazing for a CGI gorilla on a TV show. But then again it shouldn't be a surprise considering the Flash has some amazing VFX.

Really bums me out when I see stuff like that, and realize we'll probably never see a real Superman or Batman show again, because WB wants to save them for movies. A live-action show done with the resources they have nowadays would be so much better than any movie they could try and make with either of them.

Super-heroes just work better on TV than in movies. The pacing is more like the comics, you don't have to try and cram decades of stories into two hours. It's more natural and organic.

I like Gotham more or less for what it is, but oh my god I would have killed for a Gotham Central tv show. Just straight up adapt Gotham Central.

It only uses Batman sparingly so you could still have him in movies, it uses villains that the movies probably won't ever get around to using(save for the Joker which you could still use since he doesn't show up but for a little while).

And you could still have your gritty cop drama show that appeals to a wide audience.

But hey, at least we have Daredevil.
