Whose the guy on the X-wing? Is he going to be a major character?

Given how much Rey looks like Natalie Portman, I would be very surprised if she's not Luke's daughter. Being Han/Leia's daughter makes sense too, but given the story generally goes from Luke's side of ancestory she might be his, not to mention the narration in the trailer.

That's Oscar Isaac - he's playing Poe Dameron. Poe is one if the main three along with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega's characters.

No clue but they announced those three as the main characters of the new trilogy at Celebration.

I figured it would be a new trio but since I saw Han there I thought he was going to be part of that trio.

I think Han definitely has a big role in this one. Definitely the biggest of the original trio. I just hope he doesn't die in Ep VII.

They'll likely want to keep the original 3 around for the whole new trilogy. If Han dies it will likely be in the last one Episode 9. No way would they kill him off in the first one.
