This episode could only work if you go into this completely cold so that you could be surprise by the thunder dome style death race.

The only thing that brought this episode down was the ham fisted today lesson on "true friendship" like how Uncle grandpa/steven universe cross over just have to have that storybook moral of accepting weird people. If it's going to be a wacky episode, then just let be a wacky episode.

It especially bug me that the show had repeat the falling off the building twice to get it's point across and with Mondo Gecko saying outloud. It was like in "Good, the Bad and the Casey Jones"'s scene of Casey pushing Raph out of the way from the train to establish that "And now they're friends" and did that type scene again in another episode. I said once and I'll say it again.

Subtlety is not their strong suit, but the surprise kept this from being some old ******** for me.

Loved seeing Mikey & Casey hanging out & doing some skateboarding! Greg Cipes & Josh Peck did a great voicing job.

I always thought Casey's best friend is Raph like in the past.

Casey spends all his time hanging out with everyone except for Raph in this series, the character he's supposed to be paired with the most.

Mom and I watched the episode together, and we loved it. Mondo was great, and Robbie did a good job. It was nice seeing Casey and Mikey hanging out as that's not something we've seen before. I also liked Xever's role and was also surprised that Mr. X was him and not an OC. However, it was nice seeing him since he's rarely been around. The skateboarding race was good, but when did Xever learn to skateboard? He never did that before. I loved how he was given a last name, too. Overall, a good episode, and I see that I was right and that Pizza Face was not a dream. Can't wait for next week's episode for sure, and I hope Mondo joins the Mutanimals.

I really liked this episode. I love when the turtles are skating, and this is an entire episode FULL of that. Really cool. Love Mondo's design, though I was hoping his voice would sound a bit younger... it's still a good take.

I was not expecting them to do a skate arena thing so that it felt out of left field to just suddenly have it pop into the episode like that--good choice for a an episode premise. If I had a complaint it's that the audience should have been full of random underworlders and maybe some sideline mutants, NOT full of the entire TMNT villain lineup... that felt off and doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It also makes the tmnt world feel very small... like those are the only characters that even exist, which is a shame...

But it's not a big complaint, the episode is fun and takes us on a journey unlike anything else we've seen in the 2012 series so far. It was a fun ride and I hope we get more turtle skating cause I always find it so cool.

I couldn't watch past the four minutes of the entire episode. It just got really, REALLY stupid for me, especially after Mondo Gecko's singing. Personally, I think this is the point where the show just got worse for me.

Yeah, maybe a little hasty to bail that quick. It started out a little slow, but it got more interesting later. (But just imo of course.)

I liked Mondo better than I was expecting I would. When we first heard he'd be showing up I was afraid he might turn out annoying, but not bad really, and having the same voice actor as 1990 Mikey helped.

Mixing Mondo's Archie origin with the Mr. X plot from his OT debut with Xever in place of random-evil-guy-who-was-there-all-along-apparently was pretty clever.

Hoping he joins up with the Mutanimals come season's end when there's most likely going to be a big Turtles/Mutanimals vs. Shredder's forces battle.

Are you just looking for something to complain about every week? Every episode is stupid to you now? The tone of the humor is exactly the same as its always been. I don't understand why some people act like watching this show is some life-or-death struggle.

I have noticed no major difference in the average episode quality throughout the series (excluding Northampton). Every season has had a few bad and mediocre episodes, but this one didn't seem like a chore to watch at all. It was funny and clever.
If you couldn't enjoy this episode for this goofiness (it's TMNT, you should expect some ridiculousness) then how have you stayed with the show this far? This episode was fairly standard for Nick TMNT. The show has done tons of weirder stuff in past seasons and earlier episodes in season 3.

They whipped out another catchphrase from "The Warriors", something tells me the crew loves that movie.

  • Crognar bending spikes with his pecks - hilarious.
  • How did I know Mondo Gecko wouldn't like the name Mikey gave him?
  • Jason... Biggs?
  • His parents kicked him out because he was a Gecko. Mondo harsh.
  • He says "Cowabunga!" But it's "too old school"
  • HUN!
  • Did Donnie's hockey game character get... decapitated?
  • Xever actually doing something for a change! Since when did he have these underground races going on?
  • Holy crap, Spider Bite was in this!
  • I totally wasn't expecting an awesome underground race like this. It would have been cool to have had more mutants in the race. Kinda like Mario Kart for TMNT
  • Where was Shredder during all this shenanigans?
  • Loved the Cowabunga at the end!

Loved the episode, though I felt just seeing the villains being 'out of character'
Ok, they have every right to relax; but I thought they would attack after the race. At least that's what I thought TigerClaw would have done, I kept watching like: "Look at him, eating popcorn, ... enjoying a skate race of 'doom' ..."

Well, I loved it, :3

Just seeing the villains just sit down and hope Casey, Mike and Mondo will get destroyed one way or another doesn't seem like them though. I think they would interfere or even plot plans.

I'm sure they are all: "Shh, don't tell Shredder we did this ..."

Akita, "Hachiko" is the name of the famous dog. If I'd see THAT dog alone on the street, he/she'd be sleeping right now on my bed. Because that dog, is just so amazing.

Blah Blah Blah, off to bed, happy with this episode. ... Also, 'TOYS'

Why not have "old school is the only school"? as a choice for best quote?

Its not Hun so don't call him that! Lea sounds better since he has nothing in common with Hun and close to the actual character homage.

Kicked out of the house because of the mutation? Seems a bit much and the fact he does not care is odd.

The Michelangelo and Casey Jones pairing is unique. I do not know it happening before so its cool to see the pair up. Cool to see him interact with Mondo Gecko as well.

Mr. X reference and the human with a pet lizard and part-time rocker mixing Archie and the '87 cartoon.

Jason? What is that a reference to?

Fish Face gets something relevant and a last name? Interesting. I thought he would be put on the back burner with six mutants under Shredder's command now.

Cowabunga says it all! Interesting catchphrase debate!

Nice way to beat Fishface, but why did the villains not try to ambush the turtles, Mondo Geckol and Casey Jones.

I'm assuming they likely freaked out, not just simply kicked out. It's been a while though, I suppose he may just be used to and accepted his new life by now.

If Mondo was one of Xever's most promising errand boys, as Xever stated, I'm curious who the others are. And who the other mutants are that Mondo claims Xever had taken in.

I'm going with Jason Biggs. Or Jason Voorhees. Take your pick.

The characters name is Hun so that's what he should be called. He's the buff leader of the purple dragons and Caseys rival that sounds like Hun to me.

Trey seemed to like it....but he kept wanting me to say "booyakasha!". He tried to say both Booyakasha and CVowabunga, the old school phrase seemed easier.
