You know what really bothers me the most about Don's ordeal?

He had his back broken (a turtle's spine is fused into the carapace) and he was stabilized while prone on his plastron and what's the first thing Splinter does? Flip him over!! No wonder he lost a lot of blood, his father was killing him faster!! Then his brothers exacerbate the situation by moving in what position? Semi-supine, instead of prone.

Aside from that, you had Honeycutt and Harold present - both doctors - and neither bothered to make the others aware how badly they were handling Don. It doesn't matter if they aren't physicians, they would have a rudimentary understanding at least.

I'm glad IDW didn't go full-out Image and show Don as a skeleton, and it would be cool to see them briefly explore a "RoboCop" situation where it appears Don is "deleted" and regains sentience, yet I felt compelled to express my thoughts regarding the mishandling of his critical condition.

Yeah, medically speaking, that was some pretty poor handling of the patient. But eh, I can overlook it.

And as much as I love Image TMNT, I'm already impatient to have Donny restored to a normal Turtle. CyberDonny would be a little too much for me.

Well they were under a lot of stress at the moment. It's tough for cool heads to prevail.

Eh, to be honest, before the preview I knew something would be a twist. Donnie was pretty cyborg at one point in Image.

As I told a friend "He's a TMNT. The title is TMNT. They've got something up their sleeve!"

Though that was after the damage was done. I certainly didn't predict the damage to BE done.

I really do like Bebop/Rocksteady being serious dangers though.

Yes! I though exactly the same. You never move someone with such injury. Honeycutt and Harold should keep Donnie immobilized ( his neck with a cervical collar) and putting him on a stretcher. I hope he is not paralyzed.
