Playmates has been served so badly with this awesomeness.

I respect what FW cartoon did for the turtles franchise but it is the most overrated and hard to watch of the 3 turtles cartoons. |

From what I've heard it might have something to do with the 3rd party figures often go with designs that haven't been made so Hasbro or Takara can't really sue them because they haven't made that character or design.
That and they shy away from calling the characters their real names. A bit of a loop hole there. As for the 3rd party for the TMNT, I guess it's a similar case as they are new sculpts and the more amorized design is a new and original idea that Playmates didn't do. |

Ok, I was expecting Shred Head, but the walker was a surprise.
I hope they bring these out close to each other, time wise. I would also expect a twin pack with the NT 1 and NT 2 together. Maybe! With the same care and attention that went into NT1, I'm expecting these to be awesome. |

I will buy both of these. Surprised another Krang is the second in the line but if I can have the walker to match the body then so be it! As long as it comes with another brain!
I was thinking the walker would be cheaper than then body but honestly $110 for something that is still pretty large with that much detail (in the concept) wouldn't be TOO, too much. Here's hoping though. I'd love to see a concept for the Shredder too. Can we try to keep this thread for any news or announcements regarding these upcoming figures? It was great that the "Look at this Classics Krang!" thread I was already in ended up being the same one where I found the production links months later. |
